1. Stop looking around and start looking at yourself
Social media has made us believe that we are not beautiful enough. The constant comparison is what many of us are struggling with on a daily basis. Sometimes we even post just to receive the validation that we want from others. Every time we post a picture, those likes that we accumulate may give us a small “high” that we needed for a moment, but it’s never everlasting and very detrimental to our mental health.
Stop looking to the outside for what you wish to have and start looking on the inside of what you do have. Who you are is so special. You are beautiful in every way possible. You are exactly who you need to be at this moment and have the most amazing qualities. We are all created in a different way for a reason so, don’t let the outward expectation reflect who you truly are.

I’m sure you have heard that exercise is our best friend. Yes, yes we know. You don’t like working out either, but hear me out. It’s sort of like brushing your teeth. Doing it is annoying, but in the long run, we are grateful we did.
Exercise 3-5 times a week for at least 30 minutes each time. It doesn’t need to be a hard workout, but it should add a little sweat into your life! Exercise builds a positive image of yourself, making you feel a little bit more beautiful every day. Make the time to be one with yourself.
6. Clothing is your friend
Look at your closet. Do you even like anything anymore? If not, go and change it up pronto. Clothing is magical. We don’t know how it does it, but when you put on an outfit that makes you look and feel like you are the coolest chick around, there ain’t nothing stopping you!

Who you surround yourself with will make an impact on how good or bad you feel about yourself. Spend time with the people that are positive! The reason we need to do this is that if we constantly hear the negativity of others, we will start to slowly believe what they are saying about us.
Usually, when people say something negative to you, it’s because they don’t feel confident in themselves. They feel that bringing the down the people around will make them feel better and in return, it will actually make them feel worse. Be careful with you who you spend most of your time with because it will either help or hurt who you will become in the future.
