10 Vegan Restaurants In Boston You Must Try

Going vegan is not easy, especially if you are eating out. Luckily, Boston is the city for vegans, and you will be able to find vegan restaurants in every corner. However, some overpower the others in taste and are much worth the visit. Keep in mind that not every single thing in each one of these restaurants are vegan, but that they have amazing vegan options. Here are ten vegan restaurants that are an absolute must-try in Boston!

1. Whole Heart Provisions

Whole Heart Provisions is a vegan café located in Allston, Central Square, and Harvard Square. In this restaurant, you can create your own bowl or try out their options. They have a Sunday Brunch every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Central Square and Allston and have vegan options for almost every single item on the menu.

2. FoMu Ice Cream

If you want a sweet vegan treat, head over to FoMu in any of the four locations in Allston, South End, Fenway, or Jamaica Plain. In this place, there are ice-creams, ice-cream cakes, cookies, and baked goods. The signature ice-creams are made with coconut milk and a organic, natural sweeteners. Personally, my favorite flavor is the blueberry shortbread for ice-cream. Check it out for amazing vegan flavors and delicious treats!

3.  Allston Diner

The Allston Diner is an amazing restaurant in Boston known for its lunch and breakfast appeals to family. This place is meant for families to enjoy a Sunday brunch, so much that they have breakfast open until 3 p.m. for those who do not wake up so early in the morning. They have a vegan menu as well featuring The Ultimate Vegan Breakfast, which is my personal favorite, which includes tofu scramble with up to three veggie fillings, soy sausage, home fries, toast, and an option to include daiya cheese. This diner is an amazing family-friendly location for vegans.

4. My Thai Vegan Café

If you want Thai food in a specialty vegan form, try out My Thai Vegan Café located in Chinatown. My personal favorite is the Fresh Mango With Yellow Curry, which includes tomato, string beans, almonds, basil leaves, and coconut milk all inside of a fresh mango. This café is wonderful for its small scene and amazing taste, and especially since it is entirely vegan-friendly.

5. Cocobeet

Cocobeet is a highly-ranked juice bar located in Government Center and includes vegan products. They specialize primarily in organic juices, superfood smoothies, and vegan meals. This place is especially significant because is has amazing options, both raw and cooked, and it has an unlimited array of juices to try out.

6. Veggie Galaxy

Veggie Galaxy is an American-style restaurant specializing in their comfort food in Cambridge. Everything in the menu is vegetarian and can be made vegan. My favorite dish on the menu is the stuffed French toast, which is stuffed with vanilla vegan cream cheese and topped with caramelized banana butter, strawberry sauce, and maple syrup. Everything about this place feels homey and overall comforting, so I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a hearty vegan breakfast.

7. Amorino USA

Amorino USA is a gelato place located in both South Station and Cambridge. This place produces gourmet gelato and is vegan-friendly. The vegan flavors are clearly marked in the restaurant and the food is aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Check this place out for an amazing visual of vegan-friendly dessert!

8. True Bistro

True Bistro is a plant-based restaurant with extraordinary menu items and true compassion made with every meal. My favorite meal from this restaurant is their house waffles with maple syrup. Although it may seem basic, this place produces food that tastes extremely high-end and real, and its flavors are extremely unique.

9. Stoked Wood Fired Pizza

Stoked Pizza is an amazing pizza place in Boston known because it uses the classic wood-burning oven for enhanced flavor. This place has numerous vegan options, my favorite being the cauliflower pizza. Being vegan, you will never find pizza places anywhere, so check this place out and have a fresh new experience while having a vegan lifestyle!

10. Red Lentil

Red Lentil is a vegan and vegetarian restaurant located in Watertown. This place specializes in producing both vegetarian and vegan meals and is an award-winning restaurant. Along with that, it hosts numerous vegan charities and the Boston Vegetarian Society Annual Harvest Dinner. My favorite dish on the menu is the nutty lasagna because it is something that tastes delicious and you will never find it in any other restaurant.
