4 Outfits To Wear With Toe Loop Sandals

Toe loop sandals are a hot trend this summer! They are an unlikely fashion choice that has made its way back to the centre stage in recent years. Unconventional and often overlooked in favour of more trendy styles, toe loop sandals don’t usually get the love they deserve. The key to loving a toe loop sandal, however, is to pair it with the right sort of style. Here are 4 outfits to wear with toe loop sandals that will make your summer fashion look scorching!

1. Accentuate the Legs

Sandals are all about showing off your legs. We all know that shoes are a great way to bring attention downwards to your legs. Whether you’re going for leather-brown tones, bold striking colours, or rich, busy and bohemian, shoe choice makes or breaks an outfit.

Toe loop sandals are as bold as they come: their blocky shape makes them a guaranteed eye-catcher. You need the clothes to pull off the intention, however, and this is where tight trousers really shine.

Pair your toe loop sandals with tight ankle-length trousers to really give you that chic, classy vibe.

2. Short and Simple

Toe loop sandals can be big and blocky if you want them to be, but not every sandal comes in this style. Sometimes, it’s best to leave it to the clothes themselves to be bold.

For thinner-strapped sandals, forgo length in your clothes and bring the attention back up to your torso, not your legs. Having a shorter dress, or alternatively wearing a skirt or shorts, can, therefore, become the standout piece your day needs. Use bright colours or stick to one colour to be truly bold, and pair with a lighter colour sandal to really get the most out of your outfit and make heads turn.

3. Jean it up

Perhaps the most versatile piece of clothing ever invented, jeans are a reliable staple for fashion – they work well in every season, too, not just in summer!

The added benefit of jeans is that you can almost guarantee your sandals won’t be the same colour. The blue of the jeans provides a nice zingy contrast to the rich brown tones that sandals often come in. Combine the sandals and the jeans with a nice crisp blouse, and let everyone know that you’re too much of a boss to let the heat defeat you.

4. Flowy dress

No summer fashion list would be complete without a flowy dress to top it all off. It’s easy to stay cool in the heat and stay summery and sophisticated, with a dress that shows itself off as much as you want to show it off.

The pattern should be focused on your dress – your sandals are there to add some helpful calmness to a going-out outfit. It’s a deadly combination that will have all passers-by within the vicinity swooning.
