Our 5 Favourite Natural Beauty Products To Get ASAP

The beauty industry tends to advertise fragrances such as Apple or Rose, but they tend to hide the pesky chemicals in most products in a fine little print at the back of the bottle which recreate the scent of Apple or Rose, which obviously isn’t the real deal. If you’re like me and like products that are either SLS-Free, Fragrance-Free or Parabens Free, then I have a handy guide as to which products you should buy that is completely NATURAL!

Hair:

Avalon Organics Shampoo & Conditioner:

Avalon Organics offer a variety of different scents that are completely natural from chemicals in comparison to brands such as Tresemme or Schwarzkopf. They cater to different hair types from dry to normal hair and assist in keeping your hair shiny, non-greasy and smelling great.

Avalon Organics produce these main scents: Rosemary, Tea Tree, Peppermint, Lemon, Coconut and Lavender. Each scent caters to the type of hair you have.

What I love most about the shampoo is you don’t need to use much which means it lasts long and definitely worth your money.

Lush No Drought Dry Shampoo:

I found it difficult to find a dry shampoo that did not come in an aerosol can. I’m not particularly a fan of aerosol products due to it being a high pollutant and I don’t exactly like that choking sensation after using a can. I am so glad I came across Lush’s No Drought Shampoo.

Lush is well-known for making its products au natural. They use citrus extracts that are natural preservatives so you can guarantee no nasty chemicals touch your hair. The key ingredients in this natural dry shampoo consist of Cornflour which is great for absorbing excess oils that your hair produces, Grapefruit for a nice citrus uplift and lime for toning the hair.

Face:

Dr Organic Vitamin E Cream :

Holland and Barret is the home of all things natural and chemical-free. Sometimes it can be a little overwhelming as to what product to use and what cream would be a great investment that doesn’t have any perfumes or alcohol in them. That’s why Dr Orgnic’s Vitamin E Cream is just the one to use as it’s free from all of that. Besides Vitamin E is great for plumping and hydrating the skin, especially in the winter.

Body:

Balance Me Super Toning Body Oil:

I came across Balance Me in my little Birchboxes that I used to subscribe for. During spring Birchbox had taken it upon themselves to give its customers a little taste of some natural products that are effective and well worth the investment. The balance me Toning Body Oil has great natural oils such as jojoba, which is great for hydration, geranium oil which helps with blood circulation and plumping the skin. I cannot recommend using Balance Me enough as they are extremely effective products that lost a long while despite its high price point.

This Works! Perfect Legs Natural Scrub:

This works! Is another brand that follows up closely to Balance Me. This leg scrub is made not only eco-friendly but is effective in exfoliating the skin with the help of Himalayan Salt. Not only does it exfoliate, but it hydrates the skin with the help of Sweet Almond oil so you’re not stripping away your body’s natural oils.

In all honesty, natural beauty products are not only great for your body, but it does help with cleaning up with the environmental crisis. It does not come as a shock that the beauty industry contributes to the high pollution levels that are very present today. That’s why we have to do our part in adopting a more healthier beauty care regime that makes a big difference.
