Here’s Some Tips On How To Look Good Without Makeup

Sometimes there are mornings where you just CBA with makeup, or maybe you’ve gone one extra to Alicia Keys level of saying goodbye to it all together. Either way, makeup is just not ideal a lot of the time, but getting straight out of bed and going straight out the door, bed head and all, can be hard. Here are some tips on how to look good without makeup (and feel good too)!

1. Exfoliate Lips

Just spare an extra 20 seconds for brushing your teeth, but brush your lips. Dry skin will be removed and your lips will look plumper and pinker. Make sure to use a lip balm after to lock in the moisture, and you have the perfect Kylie Jenner pout for the day.

2. Pinch Cheeks

If you prefer the flushed look, or the “yes, I’ve been awake for more than 20 minutes look”, you need to get the blood rushing to your skin. Lightly pinch, or really lightly slap at your cheeks to get colour building.

3. Brighten Eyes

Dark circles can be the biggest tell-tell sign that you were NOT in the mood this morning. Try out a brightening cream to highlight your eyes for the right reasons, no concealer necessary.

4. Polish Eyebrows

Eyebrows frame the whole face- if you need to look after one thing, make it this. Keep them plucked or threaded, and brush them upwards every morning to make it look like you spent hours perfecting them.

5. Curl Eyelashes

Curling your eyelashes is the sure fire way to get brighter and wider eyes, and it shouldn’t take too long. Grab a curler and hold in place for about 30 seconds for a natural curl.

6. Extra Vaseline

If you have some, take some vaseline or clear lip balm, and apply a tiny amount on to the high point of your cheeks. This will give you a dewy look without the hassle of primers, foundations, and highlighters. You can also apply onto the lashes for a natural mascara.

7. Take Care of Your Skin

Make sure to exfoliate twice a week and moisturize every day, because the smoothness of your skin is the holy grail of feeling good without makeup. Don’t let not wearing makeup get in the way of your skincare routine, and remember to drink a sh*t ton of water to look and feel better naturally.
