Top 5 University of Alabama Dorms Ranked By Students

Dorm life is one big part of college and the experience makes college even more fun. At the University of Alabama, all of the dorms are unique in their own way. Ranked by students on campus, here are the top 5 University of Alabama dorms  at the home of the Crimson Tide.

1. Presidential Village

Located near the Riverside community and the Black Warrior River.

Pros:

4 bedroom suite, new and clean, large bedrooms.

Cons:

Furthest away from the actual campus.

2. Ridgecrest (East, West, South)

Located near the Ferguson Center.

Pros:

Fairly new, beautiful lake scenery behind dorm, located by the CrimsonRide stop.

Cons:

Not the best looking.

 

3. Riverside

Located between the AIME building and Presidential Village.

Pros:

Beautiful grassy area, quiet location, close to lakeside dining.

Cons:

Kitchen area isn’t the best looking and it’s older compared to others.

4. Lakeside

Located between Riverside and Ridgecrest.

Pros:

Very clean, storage closets in halls, shared living and kitchen.

Cons:

The view in each room is different and each room is not created equally.

 

5. Tutwiler

Located near the Bryant Denny Stadium.

Pros:

Close to stadium, the strip, and the many common areas around campus.

Cons:

Community bathrooms, very old building, dorm is only for females so things can get hectic.
