Top 5 Toothpaste Brands that will Whiten Your Teeth

Toothpaste Brands have helped millions of people get a brilliant smile. They are important for oral health and instagrammable pictures. Below I listed my top 5 Toothpaste Brands that will give you the best results!

1. Colgate

Everyone knows what Colgate is. It is a brand that can be seen everywhere you go. You can find regular toothpaste at Walmart, travel-size containers at the airport, and kid’s versions at the supermarket. This brand can be found everywhere for a reason. And that is because it has been well-known and trusted for over 200 years! Yes! 200 years!

As a kid, I have constantly used Colgate toothpaste. It has been widely utilized in my household. Keep in mind I lived in Guatemala as a child. So this should establish that this toothpaste brand is an international success. My neighbors used Colgate, my family in Mexico used Colgate, etc. It’s even the only toothpaste company that aired commercials on TV. And those commercials were so iconic to me. They were targeted towards kids and went creative. The commercial was animated too! Fun fact: whenever I think about Colgate, I pronounce it in Spanish. Col-gA-te. This is how much of an impact it has had in Latin America!

Aside from its cultural impact, Colgate offers a wide variety of toothpaste. My favorite variant of theirs is named TOTAL. I am sure you know what Colgate Total is. It offers anticavity protection, anti-plaque properties, and other benefits.

2. Tom’s of Maine

Tom’s Maine transcends toothpaste. It makes shampoo, deodorant, body wash, and even hand soap. Tom’s has one of the most extensive catalogs in terms of natural products. And if you narrow it down to just the toothpaste department, you still got a variety of options. First of all, there is general fluoride toothpaste. There is the un-fluoridated section. A kids section. Etc.

What stood out to me the most are the fluoride-free products. The ingredients list is insane! One toothpaste contains propolis and myrrh. Two ingredients people will not expect to find on their toothpaste. But apparently, these ingredients are proven to fight plaque, cavities, and germs. So, they must be a great replacement for fluoride. There is also an activated charcoal variant! An ingredient that is also known to improve oral health!

I also love the kid’s section of this brand. There are a wide variety of flavors a child can choose from. For example, you can buy blueberry, grape, strawberry, orange, mango, and much more. This comes to show how Tom’s of Maine does mess around when it comes to catering for consumers of all ages!

3. Ugly By Nature

Remember how Tom’s of Maine goes on the natural route? Ugly By Nature takes that concept to the extreme! This organic Toothpaste Brand does not mess around when formulating its products. The main ingredient used in every toothpaste is activated charcoal. This is an ingredient that does wonders to your pearly whites. The products are also food grade. Believe it or not. So don’t worry if you swallow too much of the product.

Ugly By Nature offers 9 flavors. Extreme mint, coconut, banana, cinnamon, watermelon, and berry. All interesting flavors. I had the pleasure of trying the banana flavor. And as gross as it sounds, it actually tasted pretty good! I was surprised by how refreshed my mouth felt despite the lack of mint flavor. I loved trying this variant!

Another thing to keep in mind is that the toothpaste itself will definitely look “ugly.” The product that comes out of the tube will have a dark grey color, a result of the activated charcoal. And since the company does not use dyes, all toothpaste will have the same “muddy” color. This is why it’s called Ugly by Nature. But in the end, you will get beautiful results!

4. Sensodyne

For almost every dentist appointment I had, the practitioners will always give me a bag of goodies. These bags usually contain floss, a toothbrush, and a mini tube of Sensodyne toothpaste. Keep in mind I have seen different dentists before, and they all gave me the same product. There is a reason why many professionals trust this toothpaste brand. And that is because it not only provides relief for sensitive teeth, but it also whitens teeth!

Sensodyne has been marketed as a medical-grade toothpaste made for people with sensitive teeth. There are people out there that suffer from adverse reactions when eating hot or cold foods. Sensodyne’s medical-grade products offer protection from these reactions. Thus giving these people a chance to eat without having to worry about their teeth not liking them.

Although I don’t have sensitive teeth, I still got fabulous results from using Sensodyne. The whitening capabilities of this product are insane. In less than a week, I was able to get noticeable results. My teeth were super white after using this product!

5. Arm And Hammer

Most people might think of Baking Soda when hearing about Arm and Hammer. But the company goes beyond just baking soda. This company offers laundry detergent, cat litter, deodorant, carpet deodorizer, and, of course, toothpaste.

Fun fact: before the invention of toothpaste, baking soda has been widely used in the early modern household. Arm and Hammer produced many of these products as well. This company has been there since the beginning of modern oral care. Today, Arm and Hammer makes baking soda toothpaste to give us the best of both worlds.

This toothpaste brand has become my favorite. I have never felt more satisfied using toothpaste before. My breath has never felt fresher. My smile has never been prettier. And my happiness has never been more pronounced. There is something special about this toothpaste. I think it’s the baking soda that is doing wonders to my oral health! Words cannot describe how much I love Arm and Hammer. If you haven’t tried it yet? You’ll see why I adore it once you give it a go!
