10 Things You Can Find Inspiration In This Week

Today I’m sharing ten things you can find inspiration in this week. We’re hitting that point in the year where the dreary weather and heavy loads of work are getting us down. Motivation has been lost, and sometimes we need an extra push to get us through another week. Each week I try to find ten things that I find inspirational. Whenever I feel extra stressed or down, I turn to these little inspirations. The smallest things are the most inspirational and impactful to me. Below you’ll find ten things you can find inspiration in this week!

1. Read

One way for you to find inspiration this week is by picking up a new read. It helps expand your mind and feel inspired through new knowledge. This week, I’m picking up You Are A Badass. I get that it’s a self-help book, but it helps you find inspiration within yourself.

2. Follow An Inspirational Account

Each week I seek a new inspirational Instagram to follow. This week I followed Cleo Wade. Her account is seriously inspirational, and it’s already getting me pumped for this week. I encourage giving her a follow for some daily inspiration.

3. Explore New Music

One way to find inspiration is by broadening your horizons. By exploring new music and artists, it allows you to tap into yourself. I know for me I hop on my Spotify and listen to my Discover Weekly. This week try to find a song that speaks to you and inspires you.

4. Write It Down

I know journaling sounds cheesy and juvenile, but it helps you find inspiration. By getting everything down on paper, you’re able to see things in a new way. Journaling allows you to get all of your thoughts out in a personal space. I know for me writing for Society19 helps me find inspiration.

5. Find New Surroundings

If you’ve only been hanging out on campus or in your dorm room inspiration is going to flee fast. Find a new workspace! I know for me when I feel uninspired I head to one of my favorite coffee shops. Sometimes to feel more inspired all you need is a change of space.

6. Hang Out With Friends

Around this time of year, we tend to isolate ourselves. That is a sure way to block inspiration. When you’re in a rut this week call up one of your friends. Go to dinner or a drink and chat. Talking to others is a great way to find new inspiration.

7. Watch a TED Talk

TED Talks are filled with inspirational stories and ideas. Plus, they’re entertaining and enjoyable. This week when I’m feeling uninspired I’m going to put on a TED Talk I’ve never seen and try to pull five inspirational things from it.

8. Try Something New

We always talk about new things we want to try. Well, trying something new is the perfect thing to do when inspiration is needed. It’s an excellent way for you to experience new things which will strike new ideas within.

9. Set Goals For The Week

One of the significant issues with finding inspiration is we don’t know where to start. Well, when you set goals for the week, you create a starting point. When setting goals for the week, they don’t have to be huge things. Your goals will inspire you for the week.

10. Meditation

An easy way to find inspiration is through meditation. Meditation makes you reflect on what is happening in your life or the world. This week, I’m going to set aside ten minutes a day to meditate. Meditation will allow me to find inspiration from myself.

What will you find inspiration in this week?
