10 Things That Will Probably Never Happen To You At Syracuse University
So many things happen at Syracuse University; parties, events, everyday miracles, anything you could possibly imagine, really. But there are some things that will never happen to you at Syracuse University. At Syracuse you definitely will not:
1. Have a snow day.
You chose to attend this school knowing fully well the weather. Snow Days never happen.
2. Passing up free Insomnia Cookies.
Whether someone ordered more than they can finish or a club is passing them out. You always want one.
3. Hear someone disgrace Jim Boeheim.
He is a god on campus. Saying something against his name is equal to saying Voldemort at Hogwarts.
4. Having someone from the iSchool tell you their actual major.
As the iSchool only has one major most iSchool students just say “iSchool”, rather than “Information Technology and Management”.
5. Not seeing a line on chicken tender Thursday.
Every time chicken tenders are out there are at least 10 people ready to take a whole plate and not leave any for that 11th person.
6. Not getting winded walking up the mount steps.
Luckily there are lovely benches half way up in order for you to pretend to tie your show as you catch your breath.
7. Not seeing people check athletes backpacks.
Every time a student athlete walks past all heads turn for one reason… to see what sport they play.
8. You will never not die after Calios.
Hearing someone say “I am never getting Calios again” and then a week later “Anyone want Calios?”

9. Not hear about alumni.
Whether its Carmelo, Joe Biden, Bob Costas or any SU alum looking to hire another orange, alumni are always talked about.
10. You will never regret putting off work for a game.
Staying up till 3 am is worth it when you get to see a shot like Tyus Battles buzzer beater against Clemson.
