These Condoms Are Cruelty-Free So You Can Be Sustainable In The Bedroom Too

It has always been encouraged to be sustainable ever since we realized the earth needs it. However, in recent years it has become extremely important. The earth majorly needs our help! Many people nowadays take lots of precautions when it comes to the products they use. Although, one product in particular may be looked past: condoms. On the bright side, latex condoms are biodegradable for the most part, but not all of them are cruelty-free unfortunately. Lucky for you, here is a list of cruelty-free condoms to make your intimate life as sustainable as your everyday life:

1. Sustain Natural

The Sustain Natural company makes an array of sustainable products, but most importantly they make condoms! There are 4 different types of condoms you can purchase: Ultra Thin Latex, Comfort Fit Latex, Tailored Fit Latex, and Extra Large Latex for the lucky ones. Fortunately, all these condoms have the same things in common. They’re not tested on animals, they are made from natural latex, and they are gluten-free! Sustain natural donates 10% of their profits to women healthcare organizations, which is totally sweet. You can check out their full line of sustainable items here.

2. Lola

The newly founded Lola brand also has a great line of products just like Sustain Natural. Lola condoms are made of natural latex and they are most importantly vegan! They are also gynecologist approved so that just proves how great these condoms really are. You can do a one time purchase or, if you really love them, sign up for a subscription! I can’t forget to mention how adorable the packaging is. It’s super sophisticated and shows just how special they are compared to other brands. Lola also offers Sexual Wellness Kit, something never done before! It comes with a lot of goodies, including their lovely condoms and all-natural lube.

3. Durex Real Feel Avanti Bare

Durex is definitely a brand we have all seen browsing the condom aisle. Fortunately, the Real Feel Avanti Bare condoms are electronically tested, so no animal testing here! Also, for those latex-allergy folks, these are great for you! They are made from polyisoprene, so there’s no need to fear an allergic reaction, unless of course you’re allergic to polyisoprene. If you are looking for a well-known condom brand to use, this is it!

4. L.

The L. brand not only manufactures condoms, but pads and tampons that are made with women in mind, as it should be. With that being said, these L. condoms are really made with women in mind. They are of course cruelty-free, as well as glycerin and paraben-free. The packaging is sleek and discreet. They offer their Classic condom, Do {Each Other} Good condom, Ultra Thin condom, and Large-sized condom to, of course, accommodate the lucky ones. Another awesome thing this brand does besides make great condoms is with every purchase they donate products to countries in need. How awesome is that! They are helping the world in more than one way.

5. Glyde

Glyde condoms really strive to be the best, and they are doing a great job at it. Their condoms are cruelty-free and contain only the safest chemicals. They even got certified by the Vegan Society. Now, what else makes this brand so great besides their eco-friendly amazingness? They really want to make sure you have the best experience. They offer sampler packs of their three sizes of condoms, extra large, snug fit, and standard, to make sure you are getting exactly what you need. Condom sizes are just as important as bra sizes, if not more! Glyde also has organic flavored condoms for anybody looking to add some extra fun to their date night! Their flavors include strawberry, vanilla, wildberry, and blueberry. There is an array of organic lubricants as well!

6. Sir Richard’s

These PETA approved condoms are made from all-natural latex and, obviously, cruelty-free! With their array of sizes, any man will have their perfect fit of vegan condoms. Sir Richard’s condoms are tested for your safety and pleasure so you know you’re getting the good stuff with these condoms. Sir Richard’s also sells more than just awesome condoms. You’ll find plenty of goodies on their website. I would also like to add that Sir Richard’s donates products to countries in need as well. You can make a lot of change with these condoms, and the packaging and wrapper designs are super, I can’t deny that.

7. Lovability

Lovability condoms don’t just sound adorable, they are freaking adorable. This female-empowered condom brand offers 100% natural latex condoms for the perfect bedroom experience. They are vegan and free of toxic chemicals. Don’t even get me started on the packaging. It’s top-of-the-line cute. Also, the wrappers they come in are “no-tear” so there won’t be any fears of an accidental condom rip. They have these adorable little reusable tins that the condoms come in with cute messages, which just makes everything so much more fun. Also, they protect the condom wrappers from any damage, a damaged condom is just as unsafe as no condom. I know everyone usually spends a max of 7 seconds looking at the wrapping of a condom, but these condoms will make it the prettiest 7 seconds ever. This company also loves giving back to more than just the earth. They donate to Planned Parenthood as well as employ disabled people from ARC San Diego!

You might be thinking, “Wouldn’t just not wearing a condom be the most sustainable thing to do?” Well, we all know that’s not the right answer. Practicing safe-sex is the best thing you could do for yourself. Practicing sustainable safe-sex is the best thing you could do for not only yourself, but all of us! Some people may think condoms really aren’t all that important when it comes to saving the earth, but just taking little baby steps, like switching condom brands, can make a huge difference. Feel-free to try any of these awesome cruelty-free condoms, or all of them! You never know, maybe you’ll find your new favorite go-to condom.

If there are any other cruelty-free condoms not mentioned, let us know in the comments!
