The Perfect Lipstick Colors For Winter

There are so many different colors you can wear for the winter season. Probably the most iconic being red or blue. When it comes to lipstick the beauty industry has changed and there are not thousands of colors to choose from when it comes to lipstick. There are also a lot of lipstick colors that are just absolutely perfect for the winter season.

Nude Lipstick

Keeping it basic with a nice nude lipstick. It is a great go-to lip color that goes well on any skin tone. It is easy to pair with any look and not a difficult color to find. The nude lipstick is perfect for a simple going out look for a casual day out.

Peach Lipstick

A peach lipstick is a perfect color to wear for a slightly brighter touch to your looks. It is pretty subtle and easy on the eyes so it’s not too vibrant. It gets the attention on your lips because it’s such a soft and glowy color that’s very eye-catching.

Pale Pink Lipstick

This lipstick is another subtle one, more for the softer girl. It’s great for a soft aesthetic because it caters to the subtle. It’s simple and fun to wear because it can go with almost any makeup look you had in mind.

Wine Red Lipstick

Now this lipstick is one that truly stands out. As if you took a sip of wine yourself, this wine red lipstick is both sultry and gorgeous. The stunning deep tones are going to stand out against the cool tones of winter and the harshness of its weather.

Half Green Half Red Lipstick

This lipstick is a bit more festive and for someone who wants to express their holiday spirit. This lipstick look has a half red and half green theme to represent the major colors for the holidays. You can do this look multiple ways like doing it in half or even making your top lip red and bottom lip green.

Deep Pink Lipstick

This look is great for dark skin tones because it’s really going to pop against your skin. It’s a stunning color that can be worn every day and for parties. The deep pink is great for people to notice when you go out wearing it.

Brown Lipstick

A staple in my makeup bag is my favorite brown lipstick. Why not warm the harsh cool tones of winter with something warm like brown. Brown is actually not as intimidating a color as people usually think it is. It’s a great lipstick color that will go with anything.

Dark Orange Lipstick

The deeper orange color is stunning on people with lighter skin tones. It is really going to pop against your skin because it will glow against the natural redness of your face. Dark orange lipstick is really unique to find but is beautiful nonetheless.

True Red Lipstick

This is for the super festive people that just want to keep to traditions. The true red lipstick is a staple for every holiday lover because who doesn’t love to wear red around the holidays. It is a great way to show off your holiday spirit while still looking adorable.

Light Blue Lipstick

So this lipstick is a little out there in comparison to the other ones so far. A light blue lipstick sounds a little absurd, to say the least. It actually isn’t as crazy as you think and can hold a lot of symbolism. The light blue could be a symbol for the snow or the winter air.

Mauve Lipstick

This one is a little more on the darker side but it fits well with the coolness of winter. The weather is already in cool tones and the mauve is just going to add a lovely contract to the winter environment.

Dark Purple Lipstick

This one lipstick might seem a little vampy and out of place for the holidays. Although it seems different from what the holiday spirit is, it’s actually pretty festive. Think of this lip color as reminiscent of the winter night skin, so cold and clear.

Bright Orange Lipstick

This lipstick is more of a fun one because it includes a vibrant color that isn’t commonly used as a lipstick. There aren’t many people that would wear orange lipstick because it’s just one of those lipsticks that is pretty unique per person.

Pale Nude Lipstick

Here is another lipstick that is perfect to wear just for a casual day going out. The pale nude is bright on darker skin tones but with the right lip liner will look gorgeous on them. The contrast of the paler lipstick and darker skin tones is always so beautiful because it really makes not only your lips but your skin glow and stands out as well.

Purple and Gold Lipstick

Another lipstick that is a lot bolder and more for fun. Put on purple lipstick as normal then when you’re done place some gold at the center for an ethereal look. It’s a really pretty makeup look that is super easy to do.

Purple/Pink Lipstick

Just some purple-pink lipstick is great for the holidays since pink is a holiday color. It’s super fun and vibrant so it’s going to look great with the holiday outfits you have planned. You could even be a bit more adventurous and wear this lipstick as an everyday look.

Dark Blue Lipstick

The final lipstick is one of my personal favorites to wear for the holidays. The dark blue lipstick is similar to the light blue lipstick in that it’s truly a statement piece. The dark blue is going to pop against any skin tone and really give you that unique winter makeup look you are going for.

Which of these lipsticks are you going to try? Do you already own lipsticks in these holiday colors? Are there any holiday lipstick colors we missed? Let us know in the comments! Be sure to share with your friends and family so they can find some holiday colors to wear for their makeup looks.
