The Best Spots In Atlanta For A Cozy Fall Meal

Swimsuits are starting to make their back to the back of the closet, elementary school kids are increasingly sad by the day as school approaches, and the sun is finally starting to chill out a little. Autumn is almost here. Yes, the leaves are turning, but in no way does that mean the festivities have to come to an end.
In fact, they’re just beginning. Fall vibes. We all need ‘em. Layering up in hoodies and sweats, linking up with friends and catching a drive-in movie, and most of all, hitting a restaurant with an ambiance that complements the overall mood of the day. If you’re in the Atlanta area and are curious as to where you could go, we’ve got you covered. Grab a friend and check out these spots!

bartaco

This is one of the Atlanta restaurants that is a tad bit more known than the others to be mentioned on the list, but it’s so good it’s worth the inclusion. Based on the name alone, you should know what type of cuisines to expect: tacos and tequila. Inspired by Southern California beach culture, bartaco offers coastal vibes with the help of upscale street foods in a cool, laid-back atmosphere. You also have your choice of indoor or outdoor dining if you need a breath of fresh air.
Bartaco has Atlanta restaurants across the city. One located in the Inman Park area at 299 N. Highland Ave NE, another at 3802 Roswell Road around the Chastain Park neighborhood and lastly, a West Midtown restaurant located at 969 Marietta St NW.

Marietta Diner

24 hours of deliciousness. From pancakes and omelets to burgers and sandwiches, down to seafood and dessert, you’re guaranteed to find something you’ll love with such an extensive menu at this spot. And don’t worry, breakfast is served all day. Their portion sizes are huge so make sure you bring your appetite!
Located at 306 Cobb Pkwy S in the Atlanta suburb of Marietta, this retro-inspired diner has become a staple in the community. It’s exterior is draped in neon lighting, too, so you can’t miss it.

Thumbs Up Diner

Located all across the city of Atlanta and its suburbs, this diner honestly lives up to its name. Although they offer a mix of original breakfast meals, Thumbs Up Diner is most known for their ability to create whatever breakfast combination you’re craving. They serve a variety of lunch options, too. Remaining within their traditional brunch theme, all of their locations close at 3 p.m. during the week and 4 p.m. on weekends, so make sure you get there early!

Here’s a list of all their locations:
Edgewood – 573 Edgewood Ave SE, Atlanta, GA 30312
Marietta Street / West Midtown – 826 Marietta Street, Atlanta, GA 30318
Douglasville – 5935 Stewart Parkway, Douglasville, Georgia 30135
East Point – 1617 White Way, East Point, GA 30344
Roswell – 1140 Alpharetta Street, Roswell, GA 30075
Now, write all these down and hit them one by one. When you’re finished, come back and let us know your ranking from best to worst!
