2. Creativity Is Key

Sometimes just reading the subject you have to memorize it’s not enough. A good studying technique you can add to your routines is being more creative than just reading the subject. Create diagrams with color codes, make games, questionnaires, make mental associations of the subject with daily situations or just illustrate the concepts you need to memorize.

3. Don’t Limit Yourself to The Books

Maybe you are studying the World War or the Industrial Revolution and just by reading the titles you are already falling asleep. For example, you could talk to a professional on the subject that can add more interesting facts about the matter you are studying to alternate things a bit.

If you are one of those people who can’t study without music playing in the background, be sure to choose one that really helps you out and doesn’t make the contrary effect, distracting you. If you are a heavy metal or reggaeton fan that’s totally fine but try not studying with that music out loud, because you are trying to learn not having a party of your own!
