A student will hardly find themselves bored throughout the week

A urban arts festival filled with live performances, artwork, readings and every other creative masterpiece you can think of. Ultimately also inspiring underclassmen to work harder each year and achieve their dreams
Going to an art school normally has a bad rep with a lot of people thinking that you’re not choosing a steady career path, choosing Columbia Chicago allows students to focus on their creative fields. Columbia Chicago is a small school with a population of about 9,000 undergraduate students which makes the student to faculty ration 13:1. Of course there are some bigger classes but compared to other big State schools with classes filled up to 80 students . Columbia Chicago students get to actually get closer, build relationships and interact with our teachers and fellow peers.
Throughout your 4 years of college, making a name for yourself is an important part of jumpstarting your career. Whether it be by internships or working with other creative students, Columbia Chicago offers many opportunities and tools for their students talents to get out there and it’s up to you to use and take advantage of.
