I mean, it’s right there in the Hufflepuff section of the sorting hat’s song. Hufflepuff’s are really loyal, and will always stand by their friends and family. Yes your best mate may be a slutty mess after one too many vodka and cokes, but she’s your slutty mess – you’ll always be there too look after her and you’d never judge her after a questionable night out.
Is the highlight of your trip to IKEA the meatballs? Do you long for your end-of-night Maccies before your night out has even begun? Thats a pretty damn Hufflepuff trait – I mean, their common room is next to the kitchens for gods sake!
A Hufflepuff could never pass by someone they know without interacting with them in some way. Even if you’re only acquaintances, a little wave and a smile is always a lovely idea!
If you’re the person who listens when someone’s telling a story no one else is paying attention to, first of all, you’re an amazing person and I love you, and second of all that’s a pretty damn Hufflepuff thing to do.
If your work ethic is a pretty fluid thing then chances are you’re a Hufflepuff. Hufflepuff’s are generally all round good people, and it infuriates them when people do little things that are dangerous or break the law and get away with it. When they see an asshole going 100mph down the motorway it just fills them with rage, because that person is endangering everyone else’s lives and deserves to be punished, but chances are they never will.
Hufflepuff’s are the mum friend of every group. they’ve always got what you need, they make sure everyone sticks together on a night out, and they’re the one everyone goes to when they just need a good hug. Sound familiar?
Hufflepuffs aren’t quick to anger, and it usually takes a lot to rile them up, But when they’re mad they’re fucking scary. They’re the one that almost never yells, but when they finally snap everyone is legit terrified and a little bit in awe of them.
Hufflepuffs are pretty opinionated, and love nothing more than a good debate. But the thing that sets them apart is the fact that their debates never turn sour, they respect that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and don’t fight to prove that their’s is the right one.
Hufflepuffs aren’t perfect. If you feel like you’re just not ‘good’ enough to be a Hufflepuff then you’re really wrong, Hufflepuffs are a bit messed up, and a bit bad, just like everyone else, and that’s not a bad thing!
