There are ten side dishes better than the main course. When we’re making dinner we tend to focus on the main dish, but what about the side dishes. Why do the main dishes get all the attention? Honestly, there are times when the side dishes are way better than the main dishes. The main dishes are bland, but the side dishes are what add most of the flavor. I’ve found ten fantastic side dishes that are way better than the main course. I’ve tried some of these myself, others my friends sent to me but no doubt these side dishes are killer.

1. Butter-Roasted Sweet Potatoes

We’ve all had sweet potatoes as a side dish, but there’s a chance you weren’t overly impressed. Well, I have a sweet potato recipe that is going to blow your mind. All you need to make this recipe is sweet potatoes, olive oil, kosher salt, and a whole lot of patience.

Roasted vegetables have fastly become one of my favorite side dishes. I found this recipe on Delish, and now I make it at least once a week. Sometimes I make it as the main dish it’s so delicious. This side dish is for sure better than any main dish I’ve had.
