Celebrities naturally live a scandalous life and while some are able to stay out of that kind of limelight, others aren’t. Scandals have a way of making people look bad and depending on the severity of the scandal, they can even ruin careers. Being a Kardashian/Jenner, it’s not surprising that Kylie Jenner is in the headlines… again. Over the weekend, the make-up mogul decided to hit the tropics for a mini vacation. She shared with her millions of followers various photos from her trip, one which included a totally nude photo of herself. In the comments, YouTube influencer, Amanda Ensing commented, “this photo looks awfully familiar”. Kylie Jenner wasn’t afraid to clap back at the comment, “from the words of Kim K, ur not on my mood board but I did get my inspo off Pinterest.”
If you are familiar with the ‘Teen Mom’ franchise, then this isn’t a shocker. Back in May, David Eason was under fire for allegedly killing he and Jenelle’s dog, Nugget. Ensley, their youngest child, was playing with Nugget, when he “snapped” at her, causing David to snap and kill Nugget. The incident cost Jenelle her job, as MTV fired the reality star from ‘Teen Mom’. Rumors are now swirling that the death of Nugget was a publicity stunt and that David did not indeed kill their dog. Kimberly Perry, who is the lead singer of The Band Perry, is opening up about infidelity through song. The band recently released a new single titled, “The Good Life”. Kimberly Perry opened up to a crowd, saying, ”The Good Life’ is a story about the infidelity I experienced. I want you to know that this song was written during a toxic and incredibly difficult time in my life”. The release of their new song came shortly after the singer divorced her husband.
This scandal is so recent that I didn’t even know about it. Scarlett Johansson was cast to portray a transgender male in a new movie, but ended up dropping the role, after her comments regarding the role received criticism. In a recent interview, she said, “you know, as an actor, I should be allowed to play any person, or any tree, or any animal because that is my job and the requirements of my job.” Johansson believes that her comments were taken out of context and taken the wrong way.
It’s Kim Kardashian, so of course, she’s on the list. Kim Kardashian revealed to the world her plans to launch a new shapewear line, however her brand name, “Kimono”, did not mesh with a lot of people, due to culture appropriation. Kardashian revealed that she will rename her brand, because she doesn’t want to offend anybody.
