1. They know what you like.

They know what your favorite food is, where you like to go for dates, and what makes you happy. AND, he or she know what flowers to bring you and which candy makes you jump for joy!!

2. They know your dislikes.

The noises that make you cringe, the food that makes you hurl, all your pet peeves; they already know. And they know not to do those things that make you want to thump yourself on the head.

3. Chances are, they’ve already been pre-approved by your family.

Your family loves them already. If mom and dad gave the seal of approve as a friend then it’s much easier to get the dating seal of approval.

4. You know you can always count on them.

They’ve given you their last animal cracker at lunch, they’ve let you stay over their house when you don’t feel like dealing with your parents. Oh, and let’s not forget all the times they’ve covered for you sneaking out to go to a late-night party.

5. You’re already comfortable with them.

You can sing at the top of your lungs in the car and they won’t look at you like you have 4 heads. They’ll join in. They’ve already seen you without make up and don’t think you’re a hideous monster, in fact they tell you “you don’t need makeup, makeup needs you.” I MEAN COME ON, HOW CUTE IS THAT?!
