3. Chances are, they’ve already been pre-approved by your family.

Your family loves them already. If mom and dad gave the seal of approve as a friend then it’s much easier to get the dating seal of approval.

4. You know you can always count on them.

They’ve given you their last animal cracker at lunch, they’ve let you stay over their house when you don’t feel like dealing with your parents. Oh, and let’s not forget all the times they’ve covered for you sneaking out to go to a late-night party.
