5 Reasons Why I Chose To Go To Clemson
OMG finally, the stress of finding, visiting, and applying to colleges is over! When I first started searching for colleges, I had no idea what I was looking for in a school. Now I have finally decided and I’m so glad I chose Clemson! I’m so excited to be joining the Clemson family in the fall! With that said, here are the five reasons (in no particular order) I chose to go to Clemson.
1. All The Friendly Faces
When I first got to tour Clemson, I noticed all the smiles on the students’ faces and how sweet my tour guide was. After talking with current students, I could immediately tell how welcoming everyone was, and how excited they were to be at Clemson, and have new tigers join them!
2. The Town
I’ve grown up in small towns my whole life, so it felt like home when I walked around downtown. All the cute clothing stores, the yummy restaurants, and college students walking around, really made me visualize myself there in the Fall!
3. Â The Amazing Academics- Including The Calhoun Honors College
I wanted to go to a school where I would be challenged academically, without drowning in debt, and Clemson was perfect! I knew I wanted to study more than just biology, so I was thrilled to be accepted as a genetics major, and even after being accepted, I was amazed at all the other interesting and diverse majors. The Honors College is one of the top public honors colleges in the country, so that doesn’t hurt either. 🙂

5. Tagging Along To #4- All The School Pride & Love!
Every time I hear about, see, or talk about Clemson; all I ever hear is how wonderful it is, how students don’t want to leave, and how much all the students and alumni love Clemson! Who doesn’t want to be a part of such a loving, enthusiastic family? Go tigers!
