4 Podcasts That Every Girl Should Listen To

Podcasts are amazing, and they’re super fun to listen to. However, sometimes it’s hard to find one that you enjoy, so here are four podcasts that every girl should listen to, or at least give a chance!

Sometimes you get sick of your own music, or you want to switch things up, and podcasts are great for that. There are so many good podcasts out there from comedy to learning, and even political podcasts, so I guarantee that you can find a podcast that is right for you.

What is a podcast? A podcast is an audio file that has episodes or topic themes that you can follow, download, or listen to. Often times, a certain podcast will release a new episode weekly, so that you can follow them for a long period of time. You can think of podcasts as an audio channel, that you can download and listen to whenever you want.

While there are a lot of good podcasts out there, these are the ones I would recommend to any girl to listen to.

1. Call Her Daddy

Anyone who listens to podcasts has to know this one would be at the top of my list. The podcast follows Alexandra Cooper (and for a while Sofia Franklin as well) as well as stories from the listeners about their crazy lives, relationship hacks, psycho moments, and more. Relationships, sex, and more are all addressed on Call Her Daddy, with no one holding back. This is a great podcast to listen to if you need advice or just a good laugh. With just under 100 episodes, you’ll have plenty of content to keep you happy. Word of caution, your shrink would tell you to stay far away from this.

Promising reviews: “I started and listening to Alex and Sophia last week and I’m embarrassed of how many I’ve already listened to! Sad I didn’t start sooner! As a serial single girl, I love listening to all the tips and stories they tell in a hilarious fashion. I can’t get enough!”

“I absolutely love CHD! I always get caught awkwardly laughing out loud in public While listening with my headphones in. My absolute favorite podcast!”

“By far the most Savage podcast I’ve ever listened to. Alex is such a bright personality to have as a host and I couldn’t imagine someone better to take full control period daddy gang for life!”

2. Crime Junkie

Throwing this one into the mix because I think it’s really important that girls are aware of their surroundings, and the things going on in their hometowns. Crime Junkie is an amazing podcast for any true crime enthusiasts and anyone who enjoys a compelling story. Led by hosts Ashley Flowers and partner Brit, the girls lead you step by step through cases about murders, missing persons, serial killers, and more. By taking the case step by step you can learn about it in an immersive and thoughtful way, as Ashley leads you through background information, evidence findings, and other discoveries. I highly recommend this podcast for anyone who is interested in crime. In their words, “be weird, be rude, stay alive”.

Promising reviews: “I just recently got into podcast and this was one so many people recommended to me, and I totally know why now. I can’t stop listening! I listen every single day and love all the episodes!”

“I absolutely loved his podcast! I’m not sure I’m not usually a podcast kind of person, preferring books or documentaries, but I was hooked from moment one. Ashley and Britt are super engaging and conversational. I’ve been bingeing since I found y’all. Like for real, I can hear actually narrating my life as if I’m going to be taken or murdered at any moment. Absolutely worth a listen if you’re on the fence, I promise you will be hooked.”

“I absolutely love your podcast! You guys had so much extra theories and commentary to cases I’ve already learned about so I never feel like I’m repeating the case. I recommended this podcast to so many friends!”

3. Encyclopedia Womannica

A good listen for any woman, this podcast goes into depth about the important women throughout history. As our history classes focus mainly on males and their influences, this podcast aims to fix that. Each episode is only about five minutes long, and who can’t spare that? Plus, you get to learn about incredible women throughout history. Definitely, one to listen to.

Promising reviews: “One of my common rants is that women have contributed into every part of society since the beginning of time, but our stories are minimized, forgotten or erased. I love this podcast because it highlights so many women from so many places in the world, times in history and areas of civilization. I also love it because it doesn’t just cram a few well known stories into March but tell them all year round. Thank you for making this!”

“I love how I get to learn about a new woman every day. It reminds me that I’m not alone or the first woman to put herself out there. Thank you for the work you do!”

The podcasts offers you actionable strategies that you can use starting today to help your business grow.
