1. Tustin Branch Library 

It’s no surprise that a library makes the top of the list for introverts—books are an introverts’ best friend. A library might seem like the obvious choice as an introvert’s’ paradise; but, the Tustin Branch Library is a fantastic hidden gem. Plush armchairs and study tables, complete with individual outlets, are scattered among the towering shelves. The library provides study rooms—so introverts can absorb their studies in wonderful insolation—and a small garden in the back of the property provides the taquality, sunlight, and fresh air every introvert needs. The library even includes audiobook subscriptions upon membership—so introverts can take books on the go!

2. Bardot Coffee Roasters

Bardot Coffee Roasters is a secret paradise for coffee-loving introverts. Tucked away in a shabby shopping center, Bardot is one of the last independent coffee shops in Tustin. Most of Bardot’s charm lies in the fact that it is not the same type of corporateness of larger of coffee chains. The minimalist wall art, simple and trendy wood-and-metal tabletops and seating, and plush couches would relax any introvert. In the end, is it the gentle hum of the homemade roasting station and the abundance of natural light that would put an introvert’s heart at ease.

3. Old Town Tustin Farmers’ Market

The Old Town Tustin Farmers’ Market is one of the best spots in Tustin for an introvert to find peace. While a farmers’ market might seem like an odd choice for an introvert—crowded, filled with noisy vendors and pushy people—it is in that same environment that an introvert can rediscover themselves. The Hanger consignment store is a unique boutique in Tustin. Like the Old Town Tustin Farmers’ Market, it is a perfect place for introverts to support the Tustin community in a way that is relevant to the introverts’ comfort-level. The Hanger is packed with one-of-kind clothing and tchotchkes. While most of the items found are, admittedly, things that would be more familiar to previous generations, taking the time to explore the selection–and discover something that harkens to another time in the process—would be rejuvenate to any introvert. The Hanger is a unique place for introverts to lose themselves for a few hours by exploring new-to-you clothing and pieces of furniture. It’s also great way to support the local community, as proceeds from The Hanger go to directly support of the Working Wardrobes nonprofit.

         

5. Peppertree Park

If an introvert is more inclined towards nature, Peppertree Park is another great place for introverts in Tustin. The park is equipped with an expansive play area, shady gazebos and BBQ that are open to the public. Peppertree park also has a horseshoe pit and a softball diamond. A quaint grassy area, Peppertree Park is lined with shady trees and studded with wide benches and picnic tables where an introvert can peacefully observe nature. In the summertime, the Tustin Area Council for Fine Arts showcases their Broadway in the Park program, hosted at Peppertree Park. It is a live theatre—a perfect classic experience for introverts to take a moment and absorb a slice of life as a spectator.

7. Tustin Area Historical Society 

The Tustin Area Historical Society is a charming museum dedicated to the founding of the city of Tustin. Located in Old Town Tustin—which is a perfectly delightful few blocks of independent shops on its own—the Tustin Area Historical Society is a perfect location for an introvert. The museum is full of local artifacts and explores the founding and creation of the city of Tustin in great detail, offering individuals the chance to educate themselves without the pressures of a classroom. The Tustin Area Historical Society’s crowning glory is a restored Tustin fire engine that takes visitors back to the founding of the city.

8. The District at Tustin Legacy 

The District at Tustin Legacy is an outdoor shopping mall located in Tustin. While a shopping mall might seem like a strange choice for an introvert, The District is a wonderful place to get lost in a crowd. The District at Tustin Legacy houses a bowling alley and an upscale movie theater—as well as a myriad of shopping and restaurants. The District is also home to The Union Market—an epicenter of industrial-chic food stalls and tiny boutiques. Unlike the surrounding chain restaurants, Union Market has an open floor plan, allowing introverts to open themselves to discovery while wandering uninhibited between food stalls and boutiques.
