As a destination town, Palm Springs sees an influx of visitors from all over the globe! Last year there was around 13.6 million visitors throughout the area! These vacationers differ from snowbirds because their stays are much shorter! In 2017, the tourism industry brought in $5.5 billion dollars to the local economy of the area! There is a giant golfing culture in Palm Springs! There are more golf courses here than an any other place in the state!
