It’s the time where the leaves on the trees begin to change colors when the air becomes a litter cooler and sweaters and cardigans become a part of the daily wardrobe. Not only is the weather going to change but the way you cook will too. There are tons of amazingly, mouth-watering foods to try, including pumpkin-flavored breads and pies, roasted squash and soups, and apples and apple cider. Here are 10 foods you must have this fall season.

Apples

Whether it is caramelized into a sweet dessert or spiced with cinnamon, apples are a must-have food to indulge in this fall season. There are so many ways to enjoy this health food. Apples can be used to make applesauce, apple fritters, apple pie, candy apples, apple cinnamon oatmeal, you name it. The list surely goes on and on. This fall be sure to utilize apples in as many forms as you can possibly think of.

Butternut Squash Soup

Butternut Squash Soup is another fall favorite that you must have this fall season. The creaminess, the colors, the flavors, the texture, just everything about this soup is to die for. And to top it all off, this soup is so simple. Not only is it quick and easy to make, it’s convenient also. There is a 90% chance that you will have all of the necessary ingredients on hand in your very own kitchen- healthy ingredients. Everyday spices such as butternut squash, a little coconut milk and veggie broth, just to name a few. It is honestly as simple as that.

Or, if you’re going for a little untraditional take on banana bread, try topping it with cream cheese or a sour cream spread to make it a sweet treat. Fun fact, adding sour cream to the mix will also make the bread moist. Yum!
