But if there’s one thing we have to remember about the internet is that everyone puts the best looking version of themselves online. And why shouldn’t they? There’s no crime in feeling confident and wanting to look your best. So here are twelve makeup looks that will surely make you feel your most confident and best version of yourself!
While this makeup look can take a bit of practice, once you’ve mastered it, it’ll be one of your go-to looks to make you feel like your best self. Cut creases are a little like magic. They can make any eye shape (yes, even us burdened with hooded eyes) look as if they’re round, beautiful, and big. You can use a wild variety of colors, but to stand out among the crowd, picking a colorful pallet will always do the trick. Pop on a pair of lashes over that, and you will be looking like a goddess.

This makeup look is for those that want a bit of a throwback. 90s was all about brown lipstick, light eyeshadow, and fresh matte skin. It’s moody, and will give you not only confidence, but just the right amount of attitude. 90s makeup and style has made an astonishingly big comeback this past year, and I don’t think it’s going anywhere any time soon.
If you aren’t into throwbacks, then a futuristic makeup look could be just the thing to make you feel intergalactic. Adding anything holographic or silver to your face will instantly make you look like a girl who came straight from her spaceship. While I did say this look is anything but a throwback, I will give a shoutout to the fictional character Zenon from the 1999 movie “Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century”. I won’t say she is the sole inspiration for this futuristic makeup look that’s trending these days, but I do believe she has helped keep it alive, especially with Disney+ out and bringing back all our old favorite movies.
