Luxury fashion items can a lot of times seem like a waste of money. Maybe you feel like you’re paying more for the brand name, or maybe you just feel like you could get something of similar quality cheaper. However, sometimes luxury fashion items are really worth the investment. Here are some of my favorites.
These are extremely popular, and there’s a reason for the hype. As far as luxury fashion goes, this is one of the more practical trends. Hunter Boots are excellent rain boots that are really comfortable, really durable, and do an amazing job keeping the water out. Though they’re pretty expensive, especially for a rain boot which you’re presumably not wearing terribly often (depending on where you live), they’re high quality and will last for years and years. They come in tons of colors and obviously come in matte and glossy. The black pair is the most practical but if you’re on the website anyways you should check out the pink ones. So super cute! If you wear these boots with really warm socks or add their boot liners in you can also wear these as snow boots! I absolutely love the way Kristin from colorybyk.com styled these.

If you’re entering the work force or if you just tend to wear ballet flats on a day to day basis, these are totally worth the investment. Tieks, once broken in, are some of the most comfortable ballet flats on the market. There’s a reason so many women swear by them. They come in tons of colors, including patterns and metallics, and all of them feature blue soles that are easily identifiable but subtle enough that they won’t clash with your outfit. While they’re expensive, they’re high quality and hold up extremely well. Bonus: they fold up into themselves and come with a bag you can tuck them into so you can carry them with you on a night out– they even come with a small tote bag that also folds up for you to put your heels in! These are clearly super classy, and really easy to style. There are tons of hacks you can find online to make them wear better and make them more comfortable, so if you get them you should totally look those tips up.

As long as we’re talking shoes, we have to talk about Everlane heels. They look a little like flats, but they have a really sturdy heel with an elasticized back to make them more comfortable. There is another style of these that have a slightly lower heel as well if that’s more your style. If you wear heels to work or often have occasion to wear them, these are definitely worth the investment. They’re touted as some of the most comfortable heels on the market. Everlane is great because they have super transparent pricing so you know that you’re really paying for what you get, and what you’re getting is super high quality. These are so simple they’re great for every day as they’ll go well with trousers and jeans and you can totally rock these all day! Really all you need is a pair in black and a pair in brown… The lower heeled one comes in red too if you’re looking for something a little more fun!

Kate Spade has a reputation of being elegant but fun, and high quality. They’ve earned their place in the luxury fashion world because they really are well made and well-designed. Some of their pieces have a lot of character, but I personally love their more every-day style purses. They hold up well with minimal signs of wear and keep their form really well. There’s just something about a Kate Spade bag that elevates every outfit. Jeans and a plain white t shirt instantly looks chic when paired with a tote like this! If you’re feeling particularly fancy, you could use a tote like this as your backpack.If you’re going to meet your partner’s parents, a good purse like one from Kate Spade is sure to impress your partner’s mom. These had a huge moment in the beauty/lifestyle YouTube community in the early 2010s, which is no surprise when you feel one of these Baggy Beach Jumpers and realize how soft and comfortable they are. For how casual these are, the price point is pretty high, but that’s because they’re really high quality and super soft. They look great with both jeans and leggings, though, so you’re sure to get a lot of wear out of one. If you get one of these that you can wear a lot, or even just as your go-to lounge top, this will more than pay for itself! This sweatshirt is perfect for travel days as well. If you tend to dress casually, this is definitely something you should consider buying.

A good pair of jeans is an absolute must in your wardrobe. Madewell jeans are, yes, made well, but also extremely comfortable and flattering. They carry a wide variety of shapes and washes, so you’ll surely find a pair that fits your style. Best of all, it’s all really high quality so if you find a pair that suits you really well they’ll last you a really long time.
