Life hacks are essential to making your life much simpler. Something as easy as reusing containers you already have can save you valuable time and energy. Here are 10 life hacks you may not have thought of.
If you’re nervous about leaving your valuables on the beach while you’re taking a dip (cash, cards, and jewelry), wash out an empty sunscreen bottle and use it to store your stuff. It will be much more discreet and even if someone were to go looking in your bag, they won’t think to take the time to open your sunscreen bottle.
So many of my shoes have been ruined because I didn’t expect it to rain when I wore them out. You can use beeswax to waterproof them! You can buy beeswax at the store and all you have to do is cover your shoes in it and use a blow dryer to settle it into the shoe.

We all have t-shirts and blouses that have pesky armpit stains that don’t see to come out regardless of how many time you wash them. Mix equal parts lemon juice, either concentrated or not, and water. All you have to do is rub the mixture onto the garment until the stain lifts.
Citrus fruits are great for deodorizing rooms. Cut a lemon or lime in half and separate the skin from the fruit. Add some olive oil and let it sit for a bit. It can take a while to light since the stem is fairly short, but it should light and immediately begin releasing a citrusy scent.
Why do we always try to clean blenders with a sponge? Instead, all water and dish soap to a rinsed out blender and start it. The swirling of the soap and water mixture is just as effective as a sponge and if there are pesky spots you can deal with them after.
Instead of always struggling to find the end of a tape roll, put some paper clips on the sticky side. It will keep the adhesive nature but will eliminate all of the time you spend spinning the roll in circles to find the end.
We often lose things we don’t even realize and they definitely get sucked up by the vacuum. Instead of risking sucking up that earring, put a pair of old pantyhose over the spout and then vacuum. It will still suck up any dust and particles but earrings and bobby pins will stay on the outside.
