Greek life comes with a lot of things and yes, crafting is one of them. Whether you are making gifts for your little, getting ready for recruitment or maybe you’re just the designated craft sister, you know that crafting becomes a big part of your life. There are so many different ways to design Greek letters. Sometimes it’s hard to come up with inspiration but don’t you worry. I’ve done my research and found 10 different letter ideas that you and your sisters will love. 

Depending on where you go to school, your organization might have enough money to buy and order pre-made letters. If you don’t have that luxury, and I know not all sorority do, then these ones are simple and easy to make. It can also be a great way to bond with your pledge class or just your sisters in general! Getting a group of you together to craft and make something that everyone will appreciate is a really good feeling. 

Greek life became a major part of my life when I went to college. I was and am still a proud sister of Delta Phi Epsilon. Being in a sorority changed my life and sometimes the best way to give back is to make something that will be used for years, like letters. 

Whether you want to paint them for your recruitment theme or maybe it’s just time to switch things up, these are perfect for any occasion. So grab your paintbrushes and smocks ladies, because below are 10 letter ideas for sororities. 

1. Mirror Letters

Letters with little mirrors scattered all over them is such a cute and unique idea. Don’t go breaking and smashing a mirror to get the pieces. You can find them at most craft stores. Paint the letters your sorority colors and cover them in the mirror slices. It’ll make your Instagram pictures even cutter.

 

2. Marble Letters

It’s actually easier to make these than you’d think. There are so many tutorials on YouTube that give you step-by-step instructions. This letter idea is really modern and can be used with a bunch of different colors. 

3. Geode Letters

What a beautiful idea! These letters are stunning and will make everyone else wish they could use them. If you have an artistic bone in your body, these letters are a must make. Even adding in a little glitter will make them pop. 

4. Flower Letters

If you aren’t looking to paint and need letters quickly, covering them in fake flowers is a great idea. They become really puffy and look almost 3D. Any color flower and any arrangement will make the letters look gorgeous. It’s also really easy to accomplish. 

5. Glitter Letters

Another easy one! Just cover the letters in glitter. You can either use your sororities colors or match it to your recruitment theme. Either way, these letters are going to have people turning their heads. They might be simple but sometimes simple is the way to go. 

6. Cow Letters

If you are having a honky-tonk rodeo theme, these letters are for you! They honestly cannot get cuter than this. Also, they couldn’t get easier. Just paint the letters and make cow-shaped patches all over them. They will look so cute in pictures. 

7. Nascar Letters

Attention drivers: we have the cutest pair of letters! These are perfect for a Nascar themed bid day. The flames will show the badass side to your sorority. While these letters will take more time and definitely more effort, they are worth it in the end. 

8. Wood Stained Letters

Adding a darker wood stain to your letters will give them a rustic and country vibe. Add on a couple of flowers and you’re good to go. The good thing about these letters is the style will never get old, it’ll just become more classic.

This is such a popular trend at the moment. Everybody loves this leaf print and I have to admit, it is pretty cute. Also, while it looks like these leaves are difficult to make and take a ton of time, in reality they are rather simple! All you need is a green felt pen and some white paint.
