5 Iced Delicious And Easy Coffee Recipes To Kick-start Your Morning

Mornings are most defiantly NOT the best time of the day. A lack of sleep and a long day of lectures or work just does not sound appealing. The best way to overcome the morning drag is to power through with a much-needed shot of caffeine. Ok, so it’s no ‘green-juice’ or whatever, but sometimes you just need a Coffee fix to get you going, these 5 Delicious and Easy Iced Coffee Recipes are just the thing to Kick-Start your morning.

1. Iced Minty Mocha

Just the thing to start your morning, a caffeine fuelled Iced Mocha with a refreshing minty kick. It’s super quick, and tastes delicious. If you’re a lover of all things Minty, you’ll just LOVE this!

Ingredients:

1-3 Tsp Instant Coffee Powder

3 Tsp Cocoa Powder

2 Tsp Sugar

50ml Boiling Water

1-3 Drops Peppermint Extract

200ml Milk (any kind)

Handful Ice Cubes

Method:

  • Combine Instant Coffee, Cocoa Powder, Sugar, Peppermint Extract and Boiling Water to make a thick paste.
  • Slowly stir Milk into the coffee paste mixture – use a whisk to ensure no lumps
  • Add Ice and serve!

2. Choc-Orange Iced Latte

Chocolate and Orange are a match made in Heaven…and this Choc-Orange Iced Latte is just that! A smooth, creamy coffee boost with a sweet orange twist is the perfect wake up call for any early bird.

Ingredients:

1-3 Tsp Instant Coffee Powder

3 Tsp Cocoa Powder

1 Tsp Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice

2 Tsp Sugar

50ml Boiling Water

150ml Milk (any kind)

Handful of Ice Cubes

Method:

  • Combine Instant Coffee Powder, Cocoa Powder, Orange Juice, Sugar and Boiling Water to make a paste.
  • Froth Milk using a Milk Frother – if you don’t have one just boil the milk for 5 mins
  • Slowly stir Milk into the coffee paste mixture – use a whisk to ensure no lumps
  • Add Ice and serve!

3. Iced Vanilla Cappuccino

A Canadian Classic – the Iced Cappuccino is an cool, indulgent start to the day. It’s minimal effort that guarantees maximum results. Try it and see!

Ingredients:

1-3 Tsp Instant Coffee

2 Tsp Sugar

¼ Tsp Vanilla Extract

13ml Boiling water

50ml Whipping Cream

2 Handfuls Ice Cubes

100ml Milk (any kind)

Method:

  • Combine Instant Coffee, Sugar, Vanilla Extract and Boiling water to make a paste.
  • Stir together the Coffee Paste, Milk and Cream. Add the Ice to the mixture
  • Blend the Iced mixture in a blender. Serve!

4. Iced Almond Espresso Shot

Almond Espresso is one of the most Sophisticated combinations. Dark, rich Coffee paired with the smooth, slightly sweet, aroma of Almond is a great way to start your day. This one is seriously easy to make too!

Ingredients:

1-3 Tsp Instant Coffee Powder

¼ Tsp Almond Extract

Milk to taste (any kind)

Handful Ice Cubes

Method:

  • Combine Instant Coffee Powder, Sugar and Almond Extract
  • Pour in Boiling Water, stirring at all times

  • Add Ice and Serve!

5. Caramel Coconut Frappuccino

Mornings just got better with this Caramel Coconut Frappuccino. Why pay $5.00+ a Frappe on-the-go when this one is so quick and easy to make!

Ingredients:

1-3 Tsp Instant Coffee Powder

¼ Tsp Coconut Extract

2 Tsp Caramel Sauce

2 Tsp Sugar

50ml Boiling water

50ml Whipping Cream

2 Handfuls Ice

Canned Cream (to decorate)

Caramel sauce (to decorate)

Method:

  • Combine Instant Coffee Powder, Coconut Extract, Caramel Sauce and Sugar with the Boiling water to create a Coffee Paste
  • Stir in the Whipping Cream – making sure everything is combined
  • Add the Mixture along with the Ice to a blender, and blend everything together to create a thick and smooth consistency
  • Add a few drops of Milk to thin the mixture or some more ice to thicken the mixture of needed
  • Pour Mixture into serving cup, and top with a swirl of the Canned Cream and a drizzle of Caramel Sauce to decorate. Serve!
