I Lived For A Week Based Off My Zodiac Sign

As a Capricorn, my biggest determined and ambitious. Because I’m an Earth sign, I’m very practical as well. This week I lived according to my zodiac sign.

Day 1: Sunday

To start the week off living as my zodiac sign, I spent my Sunday cleaning and meal prepping. A little bit of hard work goes a long way if you want to have the most successful week. Meal prepping is also the most practical option, because when you’re a busy Capricorn, who has time to cook everyday?

Day 2: Monday

On Monday, I head to my first job as my zodiac sign. I grab my newly meal-prepped overnight oats and head out the door. To maximize efficiency, I listen to a podcast on my commute. While other signs may lag after the weekend, Capricorns never struggle. We are go-getters. Within an hour, all emails are responded to, voicemails checked, and my google calendar is pristine.

By the time I come home, I feel rejuvenated by my work. Capricorn’s high sense of practicality makes our day to day very left-brained. However, we are all about balance. To appease my creative sign, I spend a portion of my night painting.

Day 3: Tuesday

When I wake up Tuesday morning, I feel a little anxious. To reset to high vibes, I spend the first ten minutes of my day using Headspace to meditate and manifest. Meditating is good for any sign, but for busybody Capricorns, it’s an easy way to wind down and focus. Manifesting is another method to reaffirm your plans. I always feel more clearheaded about my path in life. This is one part of the day I take for myself, which is rare for my zodiac sign.

Day 4: Wednesday

Wednesday is always one of the craziest days of the week. While I’m in the middle of my work week, I start prepping for any possible weekend plans. Networking is a huge part of being a Capricorn. With the school year quickly coming up, I reach out to my fellow Buckeyes and add various brunches to the google calendar.

When I head home from my day job, I start working on any upcoming projects. Capricorns are also big multitaskers, and to keep feeling efficient, I apply a DIY face mask. Working from home is always preferred because you can take care of yourself and your work in one place.

Day 5: Thursday

Today, I strangely have a job interview. Even though I already have three jobs, the number one advice any college student needs is to remain open to all opportunities. I know with a little rearranging of my schedule, I could make anything I want to do fit into my hectic life.

I head to work after my interview and feel a funk coming on. With five planets in retrograde now, it’s hard–even for a Capricorn–to stay determined and focused. This is why it’s so crucial to have a good self care routine in place. And even more importantly, you better have a good network. Capricorns really struggle with emotions and vulnerability. Luckily, I have time to call my best friend after my shift and talk things out with her.

Day 6: Friday

Friday has become my #treatyoself day. Whether it’s for date night or for a night out with my best friends, we love to go out to eat. My go to is usually Eden Burger, which is conveniently close to campus. Capricorns easily fall into routines, so if my friend wants to mix it up, we might check out another vegan restaurants in Columbus.

Day 7: Saturday

I wake up a little groggy, but still in a good mood from the night before. I usually work most of the day on Saturday, so I get ready and head there. Saturdays have the most potential out of any day of the week. After work, I could either have a cozy night in or have a night out on the town.

Either way, I’m thankful for the past week. Living as a Capricorn means being ambitious. I interviewed for my dream company, chased a few checks, and still had time for a few paint nights. Most importantly, while I worked towards my goals, I was still able to work on myself.
