1. Roman Josi:

The Swiss Defenceman has consistency ranked near the top of the list in many articles featuring Hot Hockey Players. It’s hard not to get lost in the Three-Time NHL All-Star’s eyes. Josi has spent his entire NHL Career with The Nashville Predators and has been the team captain since October 2017.

2. Henrik Lundqvist:

Along with Josi, another recurring name in terms of Hot Hockey Players is New York Rangers Goaltender Henrik Lundqvist, who has been with the team his entire career. Lundqvist captained Sweden to an Olympic Gold Medal at the 2006 Winter Olympics.

5. Tyler Bozak:

After being drafted first overall in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft by the Chicago Blackhawks (the team’s played his entire career so far for), Kane (a nine-time NHL All-Star) has lived up to his hype as his resume includes a regular season MVP Award, a scoring title, and three Stanley Cup Championships (2010, 2013, 2015). When the Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup in 2013, Kane was also named the Most Valuable Player of the 2013 NHL Playoffs.

9. Evander Kane:

No relation to Patrick Kane(See #8 above), Evander Kane has been for several teams since he entered the league in 2009 and currently plays for The San Jose Sharks. The Canadien also has one of the league’s best smiles.

Besides his outstanding rivalry with Sidney Crosby (see #12 above), one interesting thing to know about the Russian is that he had to beat twice the number of people to win the Calder Memorial Trophy, the NHL’s Rookie of the Year Award. Ovechkin was drafted first overall in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. However, he didn’t to play his first season until a year later due to the NHL Lockout that canceled the entire 2004-05 season. So, when Ovechkin won the Calder Memorial Trophy, he not only beat every player from his draft class, but also every player drafted in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft as well. The Russian’s longtime rival Crosby was the first overall pick of that draft.

25. Marcus Foligno:

Not only is Marcus Foligno the son of former NHL Player Mike Foligno, he’s also a dual citizen of the United States and Canada.
