Fall is on it’s way and soon your house could be filled with the smell of warm, fresh baked cookies. All you’ll need is some amazing recipes! That’s why I’ve put together this little list of some delicious homemade cookie recipes to help you welcome the fall in this year!

1. Salted Caramel Stuffed Double Chocolate Cookies

First on our list of delicious homemade cookie recipes is from Creme de la Crumb. Biting into these soft and chewy chocolaty cookies filled with a Rolo caramel center will bring the holiday season joy into your mouth and your heart! Here’s what you’ll need for about 18 cookies:

  • 1 Cup Flour
  • 2/3 Cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 10 Tbsp Unsalted Butter (softened)
  • 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Egg (at room temperature)
  • 2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1, 1/4 Cup Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 18 Rolo Candies (unwrapped)
  • 1 Tbsp Course Sea Salt or Sea Salt Flakes

2. Frosted Apple Cider Cookies

Nothing welcomes the fall like a nice mug of hot apple cider. What about warm frosted apple cider cookies? Imagine enjoying them together to double the fall vibes! You can with this awesome recipe that will make the perfect batch of cookies to welcome the fall. Here’s what you’ll need for about 4 dozen cookies:

  • 4 Cups Flour
  • 2 Tsp Baking Soda
  • 2 Tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 Tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Tsp Cloves
  • 1/2 Cup Unsalted Butter (softened)
  • 1/2 Cup Vegetable Shortening
  • 2 Cups Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Cups Applesauce
  • Optional: 1 Cup Chopped Pecans

For the apple cider frosting:

  • 1 Cup Brown Sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 4 Tbsp Butter
  • 1, 1/2 Packets Spiced Apple Cider Instant Drink Mix
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 2, 1/4 Cups Confectioners Sugar

3. Pumpkin Cream Cheese Thumbprint Cookies

These cookies are my favorite on this list of homemade cookie recipes! I mean, who doesn’t love pumpkin pie? Combine pumpkin pie and cookies and you’ll get this delicious recipe from The Recipe Critic. Here’s what you’ll need for about 42 cookies:

  • 3, 1/3 Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1, 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt

  • 3/4 Cup Pumpkin Puree

For filling:

  • 4 Oz Cream Cheese (at room temperature)
  • 3 Tbsp Unsalted Butter (at room temperature)
  • 1 Cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla
  • Pinch of Salt

For garnish:

  • 1/3 Cup Milk or Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1/3 Cup White Chocolate Chips
  • 1 Tsp Shortening (divided)
