10 Holiday Martinis Your Guests Will Love

Entertaining during the holidays is at the top of the list of the most festive, enjoyable, and sometimes stressful, festivities. It’s the perfect time to eat, drink, and be merry. What better way to do so with holiday martinis? Cute to look at and fun to drink, holiday martinis will really warm your guest’s spirits and get the party started! Finding holiday martinis that all of your guest will love poses quit a tall order to fill, but I’m here to make your life, and holidays, way easier. Here are 10 holiday martinis  your guest will love.

White Chocolate Snowflake Martini

Makes 1 serving

Ingredients:

-2 oz. (1/4 c.) Vanilla Vodka

-2 oz. (1/4 c.)  Godiva White Chocolate Liquor

-1 oz. (2 T.) white crème de cacao

-1 oz. (2 T.) half and half

-Lemon wedge

-Sanding sugar for garnish

Cut half-inch slit into lemon wedge, then rub around the rim of the glass. Place sanding sugar onto separate, small plate. Dip rim into sugar to coat evenly.

Fill cocktail shaker with ice. Add vanilla vodka, Godiva white chocolate liquor, white crème be cacao, and half and half; shake for about 10 seconds or until chilled. Strain into prepared glass.

Caramel Apple Martini

Makes 1 Serving

Ingredients:

-2 oz. (1/4 c.) caramel vodka

-3 oz. (1/3 c.) apple cider

-Caramel sauce for garnish

Dip rim of martini glass into small plate of caramel sauce.

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add caramel vodka and apple cider; shake for about 10 seconds or until chilled. Strain into rimmed martini glass.

Santa’s Hat Christmas Martini

Makes 2 servings

Glass Rims:

-2 T. confectioner sugar

-1 tsp. water

-3 T. shredded sweetened coconut

Ingredients:

-6 oz. (3/4 c.) cranberry juice

-2 oz. (1/4 c.) coconut rum

-1 oz. (2 T.) grenadine

Peppermint stick or candy canes for garnish (optional)

Prepare glass rims by combining water with confectioner sugar, mixing till well combined on a small plate. Place coconut on separate small plate. Coat rim of glass into sugar mixture, then immediately dip into coconut. Repeat.

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add cranberry juice, coconut rum, and grenadine; shake for about 10 seconds or until chilled. Strain into prepared glasses and garnish with peppermint stick/candy cane.

Pumpkin Pie Martini

Makes 1 Serving

Ingredients:

-2 oz. (1/4 c.) pumpkin pie liqueur

-1 oz (2 T.) whipped cream vodka

-Whipped cream

-Cinnamon

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add pumpkin pie liqueur and whipped cream vodka; shake for about 10 seconds or until chilled. Strain into martini glass and garnish with whipped cream and cinnamon.

White Cranberry Martini

Makes 1 Serving

2 oz. (1/4 c.) White Cranberry juice

1 oz. (2 T.) gin or vodka

A few frozen cranberries

Add frozen cranberries to martini glass. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add white cranberry juice and gin/vodka; shake for about 10 seconds or until chilled. Strain into prepared glass.

Smirnoff Peppermint Martini

Makes 1 serving

Ingredients:

-1.25 oz. (2.5 T.) Smirnoff Peppermint Twist

-0.5 oz (1 T.) Baileys Original Irish Cream Liqueur

Mini candy cane for garnish

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add Smirnoff Peppermint Twist and Baileys Original Irish Cream Liqueur; shake for about 10 seconds or until chilled. Strain into chilled martini class and garnish with mini candy cane.

Reindeer Tracks Martini

Makes 1 serving

Ingredients:

-2 oz. (1/4 c.) chocolate vodka

-1 oz. (2 T.) Frangelico

-0.5 oz. (1 T.) white crème de cacao

-Splash of cream

-Crushed Oreos for garnish

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add chocolate vodka, Frangelico, white crème de cacao, and cream; shake for about 10 seconds or until chilled. Strain into chilled martini glass and garnish with crushed Oreos.

Gingerbread Martini

Makes 1 serving

-1 oz. (2 T.) vodka

-1 oz (2 T.) Bailey’s Irish cream liqueur

-0.5 oz. (1 T) Kahlua liqueur

-0.5 oz. (1 T.) gingerbread syrup

-½ scoop very soft vanilla ice cream

-Whipped Cream

-Pepperidge farm gingerbread cookies

On a small plate, crush up extra gingerbread cookies to create a course ground. On separate plate, use additional Bailey’s to dip rim, then immediately coat in cookie crumbs.

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add vodka, Bailey’s Irish cream liqueur, Kahlua liqueur, gingerbread syrup, and ice cream; shake for about 10 seconds, or until chilled and combined. Strain into chilled, rimmed martini glass and garnish with whipped cream and one gingerbread cookie.

Berry Merry Christmas Martini

Makes 1 serving

Ingredients:

-1 oz (2 T.) vodka

-1 oz. (2 T.) Chambord

-0.5 oz (1 T.) Lemoncello

-0.5 oz (1 T.) Grenadine

-Lemon wedge

-Sanding sugar for garnish

Makes 4 Serving

Ingredients:

-2 c. eggnog, chilled

-½ c. brandy

-½ c. amaretto liqueur

-1 tsp. ground nutmeg

-2 scoops vanilla ice cream

-Cinnamon sugar mix

On a separate, small plate, prepare cinnamon sugar mix. Dampen rims of martini glasses with water, then immediately coat with cinnamon sugar.

In a blender, add eggnog, brandy, amaretto liqueur, ground nutmeg, and vanilla ice cream. Blend until combined and creamy. Pour into rimmed martini glasses and garnish with (optional) additional cinnamon sugar.
