Heels You’ll Absolutely Love

Wearing heels is just a part of womanhood that we can’t seem to outgrow. You know the old saying; if you can’t beat ’em, join ’em. While heels can be a daunting experience because you’re not good with your balance or you just can’t find the right pair, here are some you’ll be in love with for your next outfit.

1. Chunky Mule

Mules are very comfortable to wear and are also equally as fashionable. With the rise of fashionable chunky heels, it comes as no surprise that you will probably fall in love with the thicker heel mule that everyone has been obsessing over lately. The thick heels make it easier to walk with and create a more durable shoe that you will be able to rock all night long. Long gone are the days where your heel would break or you would fall over because of the narrow chopstick you had to walk on, enter a thicker mule that people can now use for their benefit, and still look cute.

2. Art Deco

Daring colors and bold pops can be great ways to add color or flare into a normally mundane colored outfit. Heels with a more art deco theme are great for darker-toned outfits where you feel like you’re missing just a little something but aren’t sure how much more to add. A good shoe with pops of color or designs is a great minimal way to express your true style, especially at work if you are not able to wear the most fashion-forward of outfits that you so desperately want to.

3. Clear Straps

I never thought I would have to write this sentence in my lifetime, but here I go: jelly straps and designs are back. You know, like it’s the 80’s. A clear, jelly strap is great for your outfits because they match with quite literally everything. No color matches anything you could put on and it adds a little extra something that you wouldn’t normally think of. I love the clear, jelly strap look for a little black dress or just a simple nude outfit would look great.

4. Heeled Sandal

Basically a glorified flip flop, these heels are great for a nice vacation look that isn’t too hard to just throw on before you leave the house. A chunkier, low heel with a thong flip flop look is great to dress up your dinner outfit, or just have a good pair of shoes that will hold up at the bars on your night out. These Steve Madden’s are great for those who really want to go basic with their heels but don’t want to wear just flip-flops out of the house.

5. Woven Heel

The woven look looks great for your summer shoe closet staple. These brown, basketweave heels are great for your vacation style because they match almost any outfit and just give off the perfect summer vibe. You will want to wear these with a palazzo, linen style pants, and a cropped bra top, throw a blazer over it and you have an amazing style that everyone can achieve with few products in their closet. They make great platform versions of heels like these and you are set with your new go-to shoe for the season.

6. Pastel

Pastel colors give off an air of the ’50s and ’60s, and since retro styles are very in vogue right now, it should come as no surprise that pastel heels are next on your list. Pastel is a great way to give a muted color some pizazz and you will really enjoy the different styles that come along with it. Neutral colors like black, white, and brown are great to wear with your summer tan but a pop of color in the shoe shows you have more of a palette than just those three base colors. Show everyone how your style can evolve with a pair of pastel heels.

7. Buckles

Big buckles are great accessories to any outfit, but they don’t just have to be on a belt! Heels with a buckle around the ankle are great for those who like to have a little extra something on their shoes but don’t want a bigger statement. If your outfit is lacking accessories or you just feel like you’re missing something, your heels can often make up for what you think is missing. Little statements like a big buckle on the ankle strap or a decal of sorts are a great way to make up for what you may be lacking.

8. Studs

Studs on shoes never seem to go out of style. Heels with studs are a great way to put an edge on an outfit without drawing too much attention to the shoe itself. They are a great accessory piece that looks great with a bodycon dress and a leather jacket. Especially with these nude Steve Madden shoes that are basic without too much going on that you feel overwhelmed by the shoe.

9. Sparkle

A good sparkle or pop of glitter on heels is exactly the shoe you need. Every girl needs a little sparkle in their lives, so why not wear the sparkle with your heels? It makes any plain feeling outfit exciting, and the way your shoes will sparkle in the light is enough that you should be shopping for a pair as you read this article.

10. Wrap Around

These heels are great for those who like the ballerina-style shoe with the way that they wrap around the ankle and up the leg. They are great for people who miss the gladiator heels that were trending a few years back, but with a more elegant twist on them!
