Hangover Cures Every College Student Needs In Their Life

Ahhh hangovers, no one likes them but we seem to do it to ourselves a lot! Especially in college. The most annoying part about being hungover in college is having to go to class the next day. If you are like me and you can not for the life of you function with a hangover then you need to try out these tips! You will never be a slave to your hangovers ever again!

Powerade

This is a must have when I am hungover. Nothing is better and more necessary than waking up to an ice cold Powerade. If you are not familiar with this deliciously healing liquid, you may be more familiar with Gatorade, basically the same thing. Anything that is beyond hydrating and slightly sweet, that is what you need to make sure you have in your fridge or by your bed ready for when you wake up. I can not stress enough how much this is a lifesaver. Once you taste the hangover healing power or this liquid, you can’t go back.

Shower

The shower floor fixes everything, I am sure of it. Every now and then it’s okay to let your water bill get a little bit higher, as long as you have a good reason. And a hangover cure is a great reason. Drag yourself and your Powerade to the floor of your shower, turn the water on and just let it wash away the hangover. I am not sure exactly what it is about lying on the floor of the shower but it just feels like a safe, comfortable place. Water pelting down onto you while you are curled up in the fetal position, is surprisingly soothing. This is another must do of mine after a big night out. Yes, you may be tempted to spend over 30 minutes lying on the shower floor but it’s worth it, I promise.

Sweat it out

Now this one can come in a few different forms. If you are the kind of person who needs to get out of your room and get moving then drag yourself to the gym. Sweat out the toxins from the night before. If the gym is not your thing or you can not bear the thought of running whilst in your fragile state. Drag yourself to a steam room or sauna. Sweat, sweat and sweat some more, this is the best way to feel like an absolute new person in no time! This is the fastest way to feel brand new, it may make you slightly light headed to make sure you bring your Powerade in with you. Sweating out the hangover is super effective, you need to try this one the next morning after you have a big night out. This will be your new go-to recovering from a gnarly hangover.

Carbs

Last but certainly not least, FOOD! Think carby and greasy. Eat your body weight and skip the guilt. Go to McDonald’s, or any of your fav fast food places. Go crazy and go to multiple. Just anything that will fill you up and bring you comfort. Food will feed your soul and complete your weekend. This is also a great way to finish off a fun weekend or night out with your friends by bonding over food and the stories of the night before. This tip is universally a go-to for everyone, but I just thought i would remind you to not feel guilty for it.

Next time you plan on having a big night out, make sure you are ready to try out these little tips the next morning, Let us know how you are feeling after these!
