Sold at almost any supermarket, ice cream is easy find and is a quick way to beat the summer heat. Enjoy some classic chocolate and vanilla with a waffle cone or save yourself the mess with a cup.

If you’re craving a fruitier taste, then go for a sorbet. These fruity frozen desserts have no dairy in them, they are fruit puree mixed with ice. Perfect for refreshing a palate or simply a great way to satisfy that tangy craving.

2. Smoothie

Smoothies are perfect to serve on a sunny day and can be enjoyed almost anywhere. Usually thinner than milkshakes and has more fruit than milk, smoothies can easily be made with just fruit and ice. Order them at a restaurant or make them with your own blender at home. There are plenty of smoothie recipes online, but you can use whatever fruit you have in your refrigerator or freezer, blend with ice and add a splash of yogurt. Simple as that!

Grapes are a popular choice, but you can also freeze other fruits such as berries and peaches. Put them in a plastic storage container so you can enjoy frozen fruit on the go or serve them as a snack to guests and friends.

Keep in mind however that there are certain fruits that are not recommended to be frozen unless you are going to eat them right away, among these are melons as they are shown to lose most of their moisture if left to thaw out after removing them from the freezer.

4. Frozen Pie

Pies are a popular dessert, so why not turn them into a delicious frozen goody as well?
