Full Coverage Foundations You Need

Now that summer is ending and the cold is starting to creep in, we all gravitate toward using more foundation. I don’t know if its the lack of tan our faces have or just the fact that during the summer, we avoid any form of caking happening on our face but when fall approaches, it’s time to add on a heavier foundation.

During the warm months, wearing a thick layer of foundation can be unnecessary. Skin is glowy and tan, the body becomes more sweaty with the hot temperatures and you’re either on the beach, about to go swimming or doing summer actives that don’t include wearing makeup. All of these things play a role in the makeup we wear.

Maybe none of this applies to you and you actually enjoy wearing a full-coverage foundation all the time. They cover up acne, scars and other things you don’t want to be seen. Full-coverage foundation is actually a miracle worker. And the kinds that are buildable are great for people who enjoy a medium to full coverage. You can either do the bare minimum or go all out.

I personally don’t love a full-coverage foundation for every day. However, when I want to go full glam, I pull out these to help make me look the best version of myself. There are some occasions when it’s perfectly OK to go all out with your makeup. Makeup is mean’t to be fun and the best part about it is it can be washed off at the end of the night. Don’t feel like you need to conform to society messed up view on makeup these days.

Another thing to keep in mind is the application process. Always apply a primer underneath your foundation. There are some that help with smoothing, brightening, oil control and much more. Pick which one best suits you. Next, depending on the way you apply your foundation can determine if its full coverage. Using a beauty sponge thats damp will soak up some of the product. If you use a flat-top kabuki brush, you may see that your foundation doesn’t absorb into the bristles as much.

There *claims* to be hundreds of full-coverage foundations on the market. There are just way too many to choose from. Here is a list of six full-coverage foundations you need to try right now.

Ulta Beauty even says that foundation is Jeffree Starr approved so you know it works great. It has a medium to full coverage but its really buildable. 3. Revlon ColorStay

Another drugstore favorite. The thing about foundation is its easy to go through a lot of it. That means you don’t want to be dropping $100 a month in order to beat your face. Thats why the drugstore upped their foundation game and this one is a winner. The only downfall is the color range is only 12 different shades. But because its so cheap, you can buy two and mix them to make your perfect shade. This full-coverage foundation is great for people who want their makeup to last. For a 24 hour wear and a matte finish, you can’t beat it. The lightweight formula blends seamlessly and won’t leave your face looking caked or dry.
