Everything You Need To See In Atlanta This Fall

As fall is finally upon us, every Atlantan on Planet Earth will likely be appreciative of the fact that we finally have a tiny little break from the relentless sun and extreme humidity. Though they’ll surely reappear every now and then to serve as a humble reminder, it’s safe to say that we can now enjoy fall vibes.

And just because summer is over, that doesn’t mean the non-stop activities and festivities have to come to an end. Even though fall is a bit more chill, there’s still places to be and people to see! If you’ll be in Atlanta this season and just so happen to need a few ideas of what to get into, we’ve already read your mind. We thoughtfully rounded up a list of things you absolutely have to see. Check them out!

Coke Factory

If you’re able to pass those “captcha” tests on the internet, it’s safe to say you’re a human. And if you’re a human, I’d bet that it’s safe to say you’ve had a Coca-Cola at least once in your life.

During this fall in Atlanta, you can turn a simple Coca-Cola into an experience of a lifetime. Located in Downtown Atlanta – 121 Baker Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30313 – The World of Coca-Cola offers a self-guided tour with several different activities, allowing you to learn more about the development of the brand and how it has become such a household name.

Some of the activities inside include a short film viewing in a 4D theater, a gallery with portraits of photos over the years, a vault that provides insight on how the product is made, and the famous “Taste It!” portion of the tour that grants you access to taste-testing the many different Coca-Cola brands and sodas across the globe.

Georgia Aquarium

While you’re in Downtown tasting the Coca-Colas of the world, you might as well make a stop right down the street at the world’s largest aquarium. Whether you’re a total expert on the happenings of the ocean or a complete noob, this is definitely a place that’ll teach you something before you leave.

Also located on Baker Street – 225 Baker Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30313 to be exact – the Georgia Aquarium holds over 10 millions of gallons of water and serves as a home to hundreds of different aquatic species.

I can’t even begin to tell you the amount of information and facts they have within the walls of this place. Words do it no justice; it’s honestly something you just have to see for yourself. Through the means of several different exhibits and programs, the Georgia Aquarium offers an interactive experience that should be a sure-add to list of things to see in Atlanta this fall season.

High Museum Of Art

Now, this isn’t your regular old artsy-fartsy art museum. This is a four-story building located at 1280 Peachtree Street NEAtlanta, GA 30309 in Midtown Atlanta and it’s sure to have you interested off the first glace.

It’s home to over 11,000 pieces, paintings, decorative art and photography of mostly American, European and African origin. For the laymen (like myself), within those paintings are quite a few that are of names you may have heard before: Picasso, van Gogh, Monet, and more.

If you have a potential date this fall, switch things up a little and consider this as a candidate when trying to decide where in Atlanta to take him/her. You won’t regret it.

The Fundamentals

Consider these three places the mere foundation of must-see places to visit this fall in Atlanta. You haven’t gotten a true Atlanta experience until you’ve checked them out!
