Make Your Own Bauble Necklace

Statement necklaces are a huge trend right now, (check out our article on how to wear them here), but why spend a lot of money on buying one when you can just make it? This do it yourself is really easy and, by making your own necklace, you can make sure it is the colors that you want and match who you are. Plus since it is so easy to make your own, you can make a necklace for all outfits.

Materials:

  • Craft paint (Whatever colors you want!)
  • Wooden beads
  • Gloss
  • Leather cord (at least long enough to fit over your head)

First, paint the beads with two coats of paint, making sure to let them dry in between.

After they are dry, paint a coat of gloss to give the beads a shiny and polished look.

String your beads. If you’re having trouble, putting some tape around the end of the leather should help to get the beads on.

And that’s it! Now you have your own cute bauble necklace. Make as many of you want, they don’t take much time or effort to make!
