As university students, we are probably struggling with saving money because we need to pay our tuition but also go out and have a life outside of school. 1. Brighten up at Distillery District.

2. #TOIceBreakers

Don’t be afraid of the cold and explore the Waterfront! Ice Breakers features 5 public art installations along Toronto’s Waterfront from Yonge to Bathurst. In a world that needs a little more love, let the art bring people together.

3. Discover the Royal Ontario Museum.

The ROM offers free admission to post secondary students on Tuesdays with valid student ID. Take a stroll through art and culture. The exhibits and galleries are aesthetically pleasing for those Instagram feeds too.

4. See the Winter Waterfront art installations.

Checkout the 8 public art installations by winners of the 2016 Winter Stations Design Competition while enjoying the beach and cold air. One of the installations is a Japanese hot spring to warm up your feet by the beach. One of the installations is designed by students from U of T! These Winter Stations will begin from Feb 20th to March 27th.

5. Go to a free music concert, courtesy of the Faculty of Music.
