Ski resorts are the best way to spend winter and if you have never been then it’s worth trying out especially if you’re outdoorsy and love the snow. It is also a great place to spend Christmas, why not take the whole family for a winter holiday. Here are a few of the best ski resorts all around the world.

1. The Omnia – Zermatt, Switzerland

Zermatt is in the Swiss Alps and is one of the most famous ski places in the world and one of the best resorts there is The Omnia hotel which is so close to the highest peak. They have a library with a fire place, restaurant with a fire place, lounge bar, sun Terrence, a club, a cinema, boardroom and wellness center so this is the perfect place to spend a week or two and you wouldn’t even have to leave the resort.

2. The Little Nell – Aspen, USA

The little nell is a huge resort in Colorado North America and is a beauty you have to see if you love ski resort holidays. You can enjoy this resort with all it’s facilities like free wi-fi (of course), a swimming pool and Jacuzzi, a bar and a luxurious spa and wellness center where you can relax. If you’re looking for something where you can do loads of activities then you can always arrange things like horse riding, cycling, fishing and the most obvious one skiing.

3. The Rees Hotel & Luxury Apartments – Queenstown, New Zealand

Imagine sitting right there and having your morning coffee looking out to that stunning view! Well if you’re willing to splash a little (by a little I mean a lot) money then you could be doing just that at The Rees Hotel and Luxury Apartments in Queenstown New Zealand. This hotel has a lot to offer from spa baths in your hotel room to a flat screen tv, but lets be honest you’ll probably want to sit in that room looking at that view all day long. Like I said it’s EXPENSIVE at over £5000 for a one bedroom apartment for 18 days, is it worth it? YES!

4. Amangani – Jackson, USA

Another luxury destination for people who love skiing holidays, this resort is perfect for you. This hotel is surrounded by beautiful mountains you will only have to look out of the window to see, they also have facilities like a private balcony a personal bar and a fireplace which you can cosy up to after you get in from the cold.

5. The Crystal Lodge And Suits – Whistler, Canada

I was so close to putting down the Four Seasons resort instead but The Crystal Lodge And Suits is over £2000 cheaper, it may not be as great but if you’re looking for a cheaper option then this would be a perfect destination to go. This resort has everything from a heated outdoor pool to a bar and it’s right in the middle of the village so you wouldn’t have to go far for shopping.

6. Flocons De Sel – Megeve, France

If you don’t want to go too far away like to the other side of the world then neighboring country France is a great place to go skiing. But also if you’re looking for a place which is a little more rustic then the Flocons De Sel is an amazing place to go with an excellent restaurant and so close to the ski lifts and mountains.

7. Nest At The Trees – Niseko, Japan

Why not go to the other side of the world and see the stunning mountains of Japan and stay at the Nest At The Trees. This four star resort is the perfect place to go with a continental breakfast included and a hot spring bath. The reviews are all positive saying it’s very clean and value for money.

9.Badrutt’s Palace Hotel – St Moritz, Switzerland

Yes it says palace and for a good reason because the hotel literally looks like a palace and it has to go on this list because of how beautiful it is. This resort has everything from an outdoor fireplace to a yoga classes and from a beautiful garden to an amazing restaurant. If you’re willing to spend a bit of money then this has to go on your bucket list.
