10 Best Places To Cry When You Just Can’t Anymore At WVU

Although college can be full of fun and crazy experiences, sometimes the school part is just too much to handle, and you simply “can’t” anymore. Here are the 10 best places to cry when you can’t “student” anymore at WVU, happy crying!

1. The Oakland Bathrooms.

The bathrooms in Oakland Hall, located on the Evansdale campus provide the perfect privacy for crying. The bathrooms have lots of space and a door with a lock on it.

2. Any Dorm.

Your roommate won’t always be in your dorm, and you most likely won’t have classes at the same time, leaving your dorm to be the perfect place for you to be alone. The minute they leave… let the tears fall!

3. Dorm/Apartment Study Rooms.

Many dorm and apartment buildings have a couple rooms on each floor with a TV and some couches, a perfect place to have some alone time. Oakland Hall, Summit Hall, Stalknaker, and UClub Apartments all have these rooms, just to name a few. No one really uses these rooms, making them the perfect places to be alone and stress about being a college student.

4. Reserve a study room in the library.

Both the Downtown and Evansdale Libraries provide students with the opportunity to reserve a study room for a couple hours. Some rooms are enclosed without windows, so feel free to resort to the library when in need.

5. The Student Recreational Center.

If you need to get your mind off of what is bothering you, the Student Rec Center has tons of workout equipment and  treadmill’s to help you run away from your problems. However, if you still want to cry after that, the locker rooms on the first floor could be a great place for that.

6. In a friend’s dorm.

When your stressing out, there’s no better place to cry than with your friend at their place. They’ll make you feel better and tell you what you want to hear.

7.  Outside Behind Towers.

If you’re looking to get some air, take a walk around Evansdale’s campus. There is lots of space to walk around that have no people around. Specifically, there are lots of outside benches behind Towers that no one ever really sits at. This is a great place to have some space and be alone.

8. The Dining Hall.

This one isn’t very private, but no one is going to bother you if you sit alone while eating your food. This is a good place to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet without the threat of your homework sitting in front of you.

9. Tailpipes.

To cheer you up from your tears, check out Tailpipes located on High Street. They have happy hour on certain days when they sell really cute milkshakes that will make anyone smile!

10. In Class.

There’s always that one person in your class that has just had it, and softly breaks down and gives up on the lesson. You can find them in the back corner of the lecture room. That could be you.
