Drugstore mascaras that don’t flake, smudge, or smell really weird? OH YES BABY, it’s possible and they do exist! Mascaras don’t have to be crazy expensive to work wonders, especially if you’re investing in a lot of other makeup products. I’ve found 20 amazing mascaras found at your local drugstore for under $10. If you’re like me and tear up a little (a lot) inside whenever you enter Sephora or MAC, here are some best drugstore mascaras to pick up at your local Walgreens!
This one is a god-send guys!! Seriously, for only $5.84, the Voluminous Original Mascara from L’Oréal, lasts for a really long time, does not irritate the eyes whatsoever, and does an AWESOME job of both separating the lashes and giving them a lush, thick appearance. Do get!
Mascara for $5? Sold, sold, SOLD!! I actually picked up this mascara at my local CVS, and it was one of the best drugstore mascaras I’ve ever used. This dupe for Dior’s $28.50 Diorshow gave me crazy volume, lashes that didn’t stick or clump together, and it personally held my lash curl like a queen (Or should I say princess?).
You have me swooning at anything by NYX. Affordable products willing to do their job (and well!), I am never embarrassed when I walk into the NYX aisle at my drugstore and stock up on products as if there’s an impending apocalypse. The Doll Eye Mascara is a popular pick among NYX’s other mascaras. It stays on all day, refuses to smudge or flake, and has been known, however, to give more volume rather than length.
It’s a blessing when mascaras are both affordable and do their job. Rimmel London’s Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara does exactly what it promises. Because of its raving reviews, I picked one up at CVS and was very impressed by the definition it provided. It immediately lengthened my lashes and I was excited about the serum within the mascara that promises to help your lashes grow. Definitely, give this one a try!
If you’re like me and love false lashes, but are terrible at putting them on and don’t have the patience to deal with them, then you might just seriously love Maybelline New York Lash Sensational Mascara. My friend uses this mascara, and she says that it doesn’t clump and is a comfortable, natural fit for her and her stubborn lashes. I’ve seen her with them on, and it definitely looks like she’s wearing false lashes.
Yes. $3.99. And it’s a great mascara. Jordana is definitely an under-rated drugstore brand that’s under-the-radar. All of Jordana’s mascara products have wonderful reviews, mostly about how effective and affordable they are. The Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara does what it markets pretty well.
This color is intense, and it provides length and strength for your eyelashes after one application. This mascara does not smudge or clump, making it a wonderful fit for both an affordable and effective mascara. Users claim that this mascara lasts up to eight hours (!!).
Also known as the fantasy mascara, Maybelline is at it again with another wonderful mascara, a mascara that goes on smoothly, and has a hard time coming off! I have this mascara, and I’ve had friends told me I look like I’m wearing false lashes! So, yes. Go snatch this one up.
This mascara, with its eco-friendly packaging and natural ingredients, has an ability to make lashes much fuller, as much as high-end brands, due to its organic ingredients. I’m no health-freak, but I’m definitely a freak when it comes to my eyelashes, so yes honey, I’ll get me three.
This is a great mascara, especially for ones on a budget. This serves its purpose as a basic and staple mascara that most definitely does its job. It promises long lashes without the ‘spider leg’ effect like other mascaras do. I definitely recommend applying two or three coats to increase its effectiveness and help it build nicely.
This is by far, the BEST, for lengthening lashes. I tried this one on, and my lashes were especially looking fly, all defined and voluminous. This separates and defines your lashes, so you don’t to worry about your mascara clumping. This is easily one of hte best best drugstore mascaras!
Y’all, this brush is AWESOME. It’s opportune for providing crazy volume and coverage on each and every lash. My lashes felt fluttery and light (just like a butterfly!!) despite the great volume it provided.
This mascara does exactly what it promises! Lenth, baby, LENGTH. This mascara doesn’t clump, has a wonderful brush that coats each and every lash, and still feels light as a feather with it on! You sold me. This is one of the best drugstore mascaras!
If you have sensitive eyes, this mascara is a FIT for you! It has a brush that applies the product to the eyelashes very thoroughly and doesn’t give that stingy or itchy feeling in your eyes that some mascaras can do right after application. If you have sensitive eyes, like me, or just want to try a mascara from Neutrogena, because Neutrogena is love, then do get!!
I have a lot of love for NYX. This wand is pretty small so it would be very easy to just throw in your backpack or travel bag. This wand covers each lash, and because the brush is smaller, it’s perfect for covering each lash (even the smaller ones in the corners!)
Alright, you guys must know this timeless & popular mascara. In its cute little pink bottle with green lettering, Maybelline’s Great Lash Waterproof Mascara is definitely worth a try, and worth the hype. It offers volume and curl, and does not come off easily throughout the day! This is easily one of the best drugstore mascaras!
So many products from e.l.f. are underrated! This mascara does its best job and is $3. FREAKING THREE DOLLARS! It lengthens and separates the lashes pretty nicely while giving the lashes volume and a pretty curl.
There’s so many great mascaras out there that don’t have to drain your wallet. Head to CVS or Walgreens and pick up one (or two, or three, or nine…) of these best drugstore mascaras that beats to the bunch!
