First off, let me tell you that I am no fashion stylist. I wear the same clothes often (and I mean very often) and shopping isn’t my ultimate favorite thing to do. I was never fond of body suits because as a woman, it can be a difficult piece of clothing when you have to go to the bathroom, but now that I’m a little bit older, the body suit is one my favorite pieces of clothing. Tank tops will never go out of style. Right? I hope I’m right. Just like almost any piece of clothing, they’re easy to style with just about anything. I personally love the silky material because when it’s hot during the summer, that fabric will keep you cool and refreshed. Here comes another piece of clothing from Lulus, the tie-back tank top. It’s a cute, textured tank top that has an open back that is slightly cropped to the hem. The color is beautiful, too- a light sage green which is one of my favorite colors. Lulus says to pair it with the matching pants to make for a sexy date night outfit, but I think a cute pair of jeans or shorts will suffice as well! It’s one of the many Adorable Tops for summer. I don’t know about you, but I think that polka dots need to come back in style because I honestly don’t know why they left! Did they even leave? This cute blouse from Francesca’s is a must have in your closet. It’s not in mine, but it’s about to be! If you’ve never heard of the store Francesca’s, than you need to check it out because I truly believe that it’s a hidden gem of a store. They have everything from tops, dresses, accessories and everything in between. Their items are affordable, too! This house is a navy blue with white polka dots. It looks to have a square hemline and bottom that puffs out. So cute!
One item of clothing that I believe every woman needs in their life is a white t-shirt. A black, one too really! A white t-shirt goes with EVERYTHING. They can be dressed up, or dressed down, paired with a cute sweatshirt that makes it a more chic look, especially when with a cute pair of jeans or simply, as is. I have at least three white shirts because when on a short weekend getaway or long vacation, I want to be able to rewear them because of how easy they are to style. Now I know when people think of a white t-shirt, they don’t always necessarily think of purchasing one at the GAP, but truthfully, I love shopping here for simply pieces of clothing that are affordable, and this white t-shirt is. Along with Lulu’s, L’abeye is my second favorite online store to shop at. Have you ever heard of the show Southern Charm? If so, one of the former cast members, Naomie Olindo and one her friends owns it. Woman owned, how cool! I absolutely love everything in this online store and shop here frequently if I’m being honest. There are SO many options from blouses, tank-tops and dresses, to crop-tops, two piece sets and more. They are constantly bringing in new items and they have sales which can range from 15% to 50% off depending on what holiday or time of year it is. Their items don’t shrink or alter when washing and because they’re made of strong materials, they last longer. I bought a couple of blouses from here last summer and they’re in the most perfect condition ever. I highly recommend shopping here especially if you want something different from your friends. It’s still a rather new online store, so the word is still getting around to the fabulous items they have. What I can tell you is that I will be shopping here for as long as I can.
