6. Sugar Cookies

These festive and decorative desserts make it on the bottom side of the list because as delicious as they are…with all the desserts out there, they land on the boring side. I would be lying if I said they don’t taste amazing though (even the store bought ones).

7. Jelly Thumbprint cookies

These cookies are one of those desserts that you either love, or hate. As my mother’s personal fave (but not so much mine), they come in at 7th place.

8. Candy Canes

Whether it be peppermint or cherry, they are a super festive treat that look great in a cup of cocoa or on the Christmas tree! However, they get stuck in your teeth like crazy and let’s face it – who really wants a mint for dessert??

9. Fruit Cake

Who actually makes these? The green colored cherries just screams bizarre!

10. Aspic (Fruit encased in Jell-O)

These kinds of holiday desserts usually have a creamy layer that is weirdly white and the fruits inside get coated and infested by the gelatin. At least it is fruit filled and not meat filled, like other aspics (EW)!
