Every year there are hundreds of different variations of cat costumes for Halloween. This is mainly because this is a cute and quick costume to make. You simply just need some black face paint and/or some liquid eyeliner. start by drawing a little black triangle on the tip of your nose. After that, draw a line connecting the middle of your nose to the middle of your top lip (your cupids bow). Fill in your upper lip with black lipstick and draw some whiskers on your cheeks. Whats Halloween without at least one Vampire costume? This look provides you with a lot of creativity as long as you include the key component: the fake blood. You can start with the base of your makeup, foundation. You can either decide to use your regular foundation or use one a little lighter to get the pale look of a vampire. After that, you can work on the eye makeup using deep reds, browns, and black to create a sultry eye. Finish the look off with a dark lipstick color of your choice and add some fake blood at the corners of your mouth. If you are able to pick up some fangs at your local Halloween store, it will really top the look off!

3. Fairy

This is a perfect look if you are trying to be more on the cute side as compared to the scary side for Halloween this year. This makeup tutorial just requires a bunch of soft colors. You can continue to do your makeup as you normally would but take time to accentuate on certain aspects of your makeup such as highlight, blush, and your eyes. You can use soft pinks and purples on your eyes with a bit of sparkle on your lids. To set your face, use a sparkly/illuminating setting spray. This will help contribute to the magical and soft look the fairies are known to have. The final part that will bring this look together is some wings from your local Halloween store.

This is another cute and quick Halloween makeup tutorial. It won’t require you buying too much except brown body paint and maybe little giraffe ears (but that part is entirely optional because you can also mimic the ears by putting your part of your hair up into two buns). Do your makeup as you normally would but, focus a bit softer brown tones especially for the eyes. The part that makes this look come together is the little brown spots. you can use your body paint to create them on the side of your face and down to your neck.

5. Creepy Doll

This look can range from really detailed to really simple. However, for the purpose of this article, this is going to be a simple, still cute tutorial for this creepy doll. It requires you to buy anything if you already have basic makeup tools. When doing your makeup, use darker shadows for your eye shadow. It will help contribute to the creepy look that you are trying to achieve. To finish off the eye look use white eyeliner on your waterline to make your eyes appear bigger, then lastly add some eyelashes. After you apply lipstick you can use liquid eyeliner to mimic the look of stitches continuing off your lips.

6. Nerd

This look is so easy it hardly requires any makeup at all. “Nerds” aren’t typically known for wearing much makeup at all so you can do a really natural makeup look or none at all. The only thing you will need to add are some fake freckles. You can use a dip brow pomade to mimic that look with an angled brush. To finish off the look grab a pair of glasses and stick some tape in the middle. That’s it!

7. Flapper girl

All you need for this look are your basic makeup tools and a feathered headband. Start by doing your regular makeup routine for the base of your face. Really focus in on the eye, however, and try to create a light smokey eye. You can use a little bit of black, grey, silver, and white eye shadow for this. I would add some false eyelashes but it is not necessary. To complete the makeup look, apply some red lipstick. This is a trademark of the flapper girl costume. When you’re done with the makeup apply the feather headband, throw on a dress, and the look is complete!

9. Mermaid

This is a very cute and simple look to follow that surprisingly won’t require too much skill. You have a lot of freedom here with eye looks and lip colors. However, just make sure that you include the mystical and essential scales that make the look of the mermaid. So, for example, you can use a blue liquid eyeliner with some pink lip gloss. To make the scales use sparkle blue body paint and draw little hexagon shapes along the side of your face. Remember to not be too heavy-handed with this!

10. Mime

For this look start with your regular base makeup. Feel free to use white body paint as the base of your look but its not necessary. Whether you decide to do that or not, remember to be heavy on the blush, as mimes are very dramatic wither their facial features. The eye makeup can be rather dark. You can use black body paint to dark triangles vertically from your eyes. To achieve the signature miniature lips that all mimes seem to have to use nude lipstick on the corner of your mouth. Lastly, apply red lipstick just in the center of your lips.
