Probably the least fun part of living on your own in an apartment is having to clean it, and yet we all want to come home to a spotless living space. We’ve found 15 cleaning products to help you get your apartment cleaner with less effort.

You probably didn’t think about cleaning your mattress, but it’s actually a pretty good idea. This spray will eliminate odor and kill bacteria your mattress is harboring. If you think about how much time you spend in bed and how much you sweat during the night, it’s actually pretty gross that you haven’t done something to clean your mattress yet.

5. Keurig Cleaner

As wonderful as Keurigs are, they just aren’t always the most cleanly thing. No coffee machine is, and most of us don’t take the time to fully clean them as often as we should. These pods are made by the Keurig company so you know they’re safe for your machine. You should give these a try if you find that the flavor of your drinks is carrying over or if you want to make sure to clear up any build up to not only get your machine clean but also improve the flavor of your drinks and keep your machine in good condition.

Over time, garbage disposals develop a scent as things get stuck in them. There are a few ways you can clean them (safely) at home, but sometimes you need a really good deep clean to fully get rid of the odor and these will do just that! All you do is pop one into your disposal and run it and run the hot water on and off and your whole kitchen will smell like lemon!

7. Drain Snake

Moving to the bathroom, you might notice that your sink or the drain in your shower are starting to get backed up. This is probably because of a build up of hair and product. You could use a chemical de-clogger, but that’s not a great option especially if you have pets. Instead you might try snaking your drain. This tool looks a little silly but what it will pull out of your drain will both amaze you and gross you out! This is one of those oddly satisfying cleaning products to use.

We can all agree that no chore is worse than having to clean your toilet. It’s gross no matter how frequently you do it, and it’s never an easy job. That’s where this wand comes in! Each head is one use, which isn’t exactly environmentally friendly but is a fair sacrifice to make when it comes to cleaning your toilet. You simply click on a head and go to town scrubbing, then dispose of the head when you’re done!

After cleaning your toilet with that wand, you might consider using this stamp with the power of those cute little scrubbing bubbles! You simply stamp in one of the tablets and it keeps your toilet clean for up to 12 days. When it’s done working, you could use your toilet wand again to make sure it’s fully clean then stamp another one of these bad boys in and get into a routine!

10. Blind Duster

It’s surprisingly hard to get dust off of blinds. For whatever reason, it just seems to be attracted to them, but regular dusters just seem to push the dust around and out into the air. This one has arms that allow you to dust the tops and bottoms of your blinds at the same time using microfiber cloths to trap in the dust instead of sending it into the air.
