1. If you know anything about sports, you know about Syracuse.

You can walk with pride with a shirt or a hoodie that says Syracuse, and I guarantee you someone will come up to you to ask if you’ve seen a Syracuse basketball game (this has happened to be multiple times).

2. One of the president’s best friend’s went here!

Mr. Joe Biden is an alum of Syracuse University; and that’s something to be proud of.

3. Traveling is always an option.

Syracuse has one of the best study abroad programs that lets you travel all the way to China, France, Italy, London, and more!

4. You’ll make deep relationships with friends.

Because of our long, cold, snowy days during the winter, we cannot go out comfortably or easily; so instead of hanging outside in the sun, many of us like to hang out indoors. We share stories, play games, and watch movies, which fortunately brings us a lot closer to each other.

5. The library is open when you need it.

Do not worry. Bird Library is open for 24 hours, not only during finals week, but on almost five out of the seven days of the week. My friends from other schools tell me they don’t have that, but we do!

6. We are all about that school spirit!

If you went to a high school with a lot of school spirit and you really enjoy that, Syracuse can further your joy of attending a school with extreme pride.

7. Syracuse offers great connections.

For many students in whatever field they want to go in. This is because of professors who really care for you if you show that you are putting everything you have into their classes.

8. Campus is beautiful.

Yes, it can get really, really cold. However, the campus is extremely beautiful, even in the snow. Let me mention how much more beautiful the campus is during fall!

9. There are so many opportunities to join clubs.

Syracuse offers so many different varieties of clubs, including clubs involving race, religion, hobbies, and sports.
