Women’s Sandals For You To Strut Your Stuff In

The warmer months are here and it’s time to have some sandals to match! There are so many sandal styles it’s hard to choose the one that’ll be perfect for you. Take a look at our top ten sandal picks to help you find the sandals to fit your needs this season!

1. Classic Flip Flops

Of course, we have to start our list with the most popular women’s sandals style of all time! If we had to take a guess, most of you reading this right now have a pair of classic flip flops in your closet. It’s the universal sandal that is easy to throw on with just about anything.

The appeal of the flip flop is how casual and comfortable it is. It’s also a very minimalistic design and overall very practical. It’s easy to throw on a pair with a casual outfit and go about your day. Whether you want to hit the beach, go for a walk, or just run some errands, the classic flip flop is a staple shoe in everyone’s closet.

2. Birkenstocks

Birkenstocks became one of the wildly popular women’s sandals in 2017 and the trend isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Birkenstocks are unique because it’s almost like they’re more casual looking than a classic flip flop, but they look more elevated at the same time.

The first thing that comes to mind when thinking of Birkenstocks is either VSCO girls or a very organic and natural person that loves to hike, etc. Get that image out of your head because these shoes are so much more than that!

Just take a look at how Miranda Kerr is wearing them and use it as inspiration. She’s still in a casual outfit but she still looks classy and elevated. Pair them with your favorite jeans and a cute top to get her look. Not to mention these are some of the comfiest shoes on the planet. What’s not to love?

3. Slides

Slides are the ultimate comfy lounging shoe, so it’s no surprise to us that they have become modified to be worn outside of the house. Slides have gone through an evolution in their recent years from a house shoe to a more elevated casual shoe to slip on and run errands in.

The return of the slide started with the slides that Sofia Richie is wearing, which are the brand PUMA. These were wildly popular when they first came out and it seems like the trend continued on from there.

Slides used to be a house shoe or a sports shoe, but now they are just as popular as all the sandals and worn by everyone to look cute and casual. These are some of the comfiest women’s sandals around!

4. Wedges

Wedges are just one of the women’s sandals that will never go out of style, so we strongly suggest you invest in a pair if you haven’t already! If you’re ever going to do anything casual but you want to be a little more dressed up, then wedges are the answer!

Some occasions that would be great to wear wedges would be to brunch, a wedding, or a birthday. Anything where you want to look like you tried, but no too hard. Also, look at Jennifer Lopez rocking a pair, she can do no wrong especially when it comes to fashion, so that should be telling you something!

5. Strappy Sandals

If you want to look a little more dressy but you just aren’t that into anything with a heel, then strappy sandals would be one of the best women’s sandals for you! It’s the elevated more sophisticated version of a sandal that will still look nice with your cutest dresses and skirts!

These shoes make the same impact as wedges. They make an outfit look put together but still casual, so if that’s the look you’re going for, then a strappy sandal would be a good option.

6. Slingbacks

Most slingback sandals are in heel form like Sarah Jessica Parker is wearing, but they are one of the chicest women’s sandals out there, so we had to include them on our list! Slingbacks are classy and elevated heels, and if you’re trying to look sophisticated, this is the way to go.

Don’t get us wrong, though, you can definitely throw a pair of these on with your favorite jeans, but a slingback heel will always make an outfit look more dressy.

7. Peep-toe

When most people think of peep -oe, a peep-toe heel comes to mind. Just like it adds a little something to a pair of heels, it does the same for women’s sandals. It’s just a little element of shoe design that gives the shoe a little something special.

Peep-toe sandals are definitely meant to be worn in a more casual setting, but they will pull your outfit all together. It adds a little bit of excitement to a basic sandal and to your outfit.

8. Mules

If your goal in life is to look hot and rich, then mules are some of the best women’s sandals for you! Mules just exude confidence and classiness. They definitely make a casual outfit look more sophisticated and it looks like you put a lot of effort into your look, even if you didn’t.

These are just one of the shoes we recommend investing in because they won’t be going out of style anytime soon. These are shoes that will always be timeless and look amazing with just about anything.

9. Gladiators

We definitely have a love-hate relationship with gladiators, but it seems like they are always going in and out of style, so of course, we had to include them on the list. These are some of the most controversial women’s sandals and they get a lot of mixed opinions. Regardless of what anyone has to say, it’s a great way to add a statement to your look.

Gladiator sandals are very out there and will be the focal point of your outfit if you decide to wear them. With that being said, it can be a little tricky to pull these off. At the end of the day though, style is unique to every person and there is no right or wrong. If you like gladiator sandals, more power to you! Go rock them with confidence, girl!

10. T Strap

This T Strap style of women’s sandals has become very popular over the past couple of years. Yes, this was still classified under the Birkenstocks category, but there has been a lot of brands also doing the same design. We think these are such a cute upgrade from the classic flip flop!

These are just like classic flip flops but with a little more style and class. If you want a casual style but aren’t a big fan of regular flip flops, then this would be a great alternative!
