For a lot of people, the beginning of your career is the end of fashion. In the business world, there seems to only be three colors (white, grey and black) and one print (pinstripes). If your pants have a funky pattern or are a bright color, you automatically question if they are suitable (pun not intended) for the office. Especially as a young working woman, you don’t want to bring unwanted attention to yourself because of what you’re wearing. This often times forces vibrant women to dull themselves in order to go under the radar to survive the cut-throat career world. It shouldn’t be that way. Color and patterns don’t equal unprofessional in any way. In fact, putting together a nice outfit shows creativity and passion for yourself and how people perceive you.
