College goes by fast and everyone wants to make the most of it. Luckily, there is plenty to do at San Francisco State University before you graduate! Keep reading for my ten suggestions for the ultimate SFSU bucket list!
This is number one on my SFSU bucket list because it completely encapsulates all that SF is. The marathon is taken on by thousands every year. There are those that run it seriously but for a majority of people Bay to Breakers is a chance to be a freak in the streets! People come dressed up as outrageously as possible and it’s basically a block party the whole way through.
One event that is still on my bucket list! Outside Lands is a kick ass music festival held in Golden Gate Park that brings out artists of all genres.
OPEN 24 HOURS. YES! And the place you can find a doughnut bigger than your face. You can only check this one off your bucket list if you go to Bob’s after 3am, otherwise you’re not getting the full experience.
Need something to do on a Saturday off? Check out the farmers market at the Ferry Building. It sits right on the bay and has a little bit of everything! Yummy!
The air show in the Marina honoring those who serve in our Armed Forces. Watch them strut their stuff and blow your mind with their talents in the sky.
Called “best tour of the Bay Area” by the San Francisco Chronicle. Take the audio tour of the old prison and relive it as if you were there. Afterwards take in the view of the city skyline and Golden Gate Bridge.
Rent a paddle or row boat and roam around Stow Lake in Golden Gate Park. At the Stow Lake Boathouse you can find a café offering laid back meals.
Mission reps the best burritos and if you haven’t had one as a college student the did you even really go to SF State?
After you get a burrito from the Mission wrap up the half that you couldn’t finish (because one you already have one food baby, you’re not ready for twins) head to Ocean Beach for a bonfire with a group of friends.
This is your city now, take in a view of all the opportunities and experiences it has to offer!
